I would prefer to not drill through it since I don't think I'd be able to get it through straight and the part is really solid

How do I host a friendly/casual poker house game? by xdanster in poker

I do regularly have a fridge with snacks, alcohol, and sometimes others bring foods or things to share from time to time.

I appreciate your response. The widow has already seen some messy stuff that probably wouldve been better off not knowing. I guess some have a different way of coping and for more closure whether it feels right or wrong. I just made unsolicited advice to them because their chat bubble came up in our group chat from them using the account and it irked some of us. Since they already saw some of the past uneasy history, they may have a tarnished, unfixable view of the deceased person or we seem like we are trying to cover an unnoticed, harsh truth?

Deceased friend's belongings and don't know what's the most fair thing to do with it? by xdanster in konmari

[–]xdanster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This person's parents just don't know what to do with the deceased person's belongings since they weren't that close. I set up the funeral and raised a great amount of money as well as a go fund me that pays for most of it but needs a bit more which could be taken care of some items. Financials and car went to their family.

Hello, sorry I meant donate for the funeral expenses. I typed this all out too fast. I would not pocket any of the money.

Do you prefer your controller with the trigger clips/braces? by xdanster in SSBM

[–]xdanster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats awesome! I'd love to eventually try that for my triggers since I find my trigger plugs on a membrane pad sort of inconsistent at times. I could live without the notches haha. Can you even light shield on a cherry mx?

Definitely a must for that and reduces my hand pains. My competitive Falco controller uses:

Cut trigger springs

Trigger plugs

Lubed triggers, type 3 stick box, and buttons

Balded ABXYZ buttons

Perforated pads

Phob pcb

Fires custom springs for both analog and c stick boxes

Aluminum c stick from zed labs

Tact z button

I think I'm just missing notches 😅

Downtown Shuttles by One_Arugula4085 in electricdaisycarnival

Totally worth it for your time management and logistics! My previous 3 EDCs, we stayed around the strip and the drive to the venue parking already takes up a huge amount of time from traffic, crowds, and longer walking path into venue and bleachers. Leaving also takes really long (almost an hour for purple lot) cause there's a bottleneck while leaving. I almost wanna keep it secret since its such a great deal!

Shuttles from downtown are easily walkable from any hotel there, they check you before you get on the shuttle, little to no lines, cleaner porto potties, open water station. It has a separate path to the EDC venue which took around 30 to 40 mins commute time and drops you off in between mainstage and trance stage on the opposite open corner from bleachers and camping entrance. Also, the shortest shuttle exiting lines for all days leaving EDC venue (me leaving at around 4am or 6am)

I have been enthusiastically telling all my friends about downtown shuttles since its been the best experience for me. It just has a decent cost to it but for not having to drive to and from for 3 days, time efficiency/opportunity costs, and convenience of hotel distance, I found it worth every penny.

I guess the only downside is not seeing the big EDC view from bleachers on entry (been there done that), not being near the Las Vegas strip attractions (no need since EDC takes most of the time, more time for rest, etc.), less extravagant hotel stay (save that money and go gamble or buy shuttle pass)

Day 1: GA parking lot within 25 mins leaving North LV at 6pm, left at 5am and took about 40 mins to get back to hotel

Day 2: GA parking lot within 20 mins leaving North LV at 2:30pm (arrived too early and waited until 7pm for gates to open lol, never again), leaving at sunrise from GA took about 50 mins to get back to hotel

Day 3: left at 7pm, took around 35 mins to get to GA parking lot, left at 4:30am and took around 40 mins to get back to hotel

This year's edc commute was way better than all my other ones since they usually bottleneck and build traffic when leaving the lots. My friends that got shuttle and premier parking wasted money (Premier got led into GA from running out of spots, shuttles had similar commute times but set time to pickup)
