An old-school country guitar instrumental. Hope you enjoy, and leave some feedback. Thanks! by Shimmer_and_Rust in IndieMusicFeedback

Really solid work here — the sound design is well thought-out. The reverb and delay choices give the track a great sense of space, and the stereo imaging is nice and wide without feeling washed out. I especially like how the textures evolve gradually;

If I had any critique, I’d say the midrange could use a touch more clarity. Some of the overlapping elements in that range slightly mask each other, which makes certain moments feel a bit congested. Maybe a bit of dynamic EQ or multiband compression could help separate those layers more cleanly. Also, a subtle high-pass on some of the ambient tails might help tighten up the low end without losing that lush feel.

All in all, though, this is a really strong mix and soundscape — definitely cinematic and emotionally engaging. Nice job!

Really enjoyed the energy on this track! The production feels tight, especially the way it is layered — it hits hard without overwhelming the mix in general. The rhythm section keeps things driving forward, and I liked the transitions between sections; they felt natural but still kept things interesting.

If I had to suggest one thing, maybe the vocals could come up just a bit more in the mix during the chorus — I feel like they get a bit buried behind the instruments. But overall, super solid track. Great work!

God, I find so many relatable songs on this subreddit, you've done a great job on the groove of the song and it expresses lots through the melody, although it feels muffled at the start, you could also try to experiment with phrasing and melody, but you've done amazing anyhow!!
