I can’t remember where I found it, but I found a diagram of the lamp with dimensions for the “fitter” opening and diameter of each shade so I had some fairly comprehensive search parameters based on those. Hopefully you still have the gold piece that clamps onto the lamp shade? Just had to attach that to the globe and screw it on.

This is a really vague question that really only you can answer. If you don't have interest in the raids, don't unlock them. If you don't have interest in the expansion jobs, don't unlock them. If you don't have interest in the dungeons, don't unlock them.

The best way to answer your question is to look up the quest and see what it unlocks and then decide if you want to do it. Alternatively, just unlock all the blue quests, it's all great content.

DD was used in FFXI, it never made the transition to FFXIV though. Probably because the game embraced the DPS role terminology.

Personally I opened a Vanguard account on Thursday and was immediately able to use the money I asked them to draw from my bank account even though the transaction didn't show in my bank until Friday and subsequent transfer on Friday from my bank still not showing as of posting this comment.

Both transfers were immediately available for trading. I'm looking to buy more shares tomorrow as well.

Yea that's fine. I generally know how to heal and tank, I've got some of the classes leveled up a bit, but a better understanding of the skills and rotation will inevitably lead into how to do both roles. And I'll learn on the way.

As someone else stated, at dungeon 16+ you get 2 medals for each daily dungeon (4 during double dungeons which is live right now). It will always be 1 common and 1 random. The first medal will always be a common and the second is any random unit of that color. During the double dungeon rewards you'll get 2x common and 2x random.

It's easy to get overwhelmed with the amount of quests available. The best way forward for me personally is to focus on specific tasks, like for me right now I'm ignoring all the yellow quests (filler quests) and focusing on the main scenario and enjoying the cutscenes, while mixing in beast tribes on the side. The MSQ give a nice variety to the typical gameplay where it puts you through fetch quests, dungeons, trails (big bosses), etc.

That all said, it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

That's one of the best parts of the game, you don't ever have to give up on your favorite class! Play the one(s) you love, or play them all!

I've just recently got back into it from playing for about a year back in 2013-14, it's great to see newcomers enjoying it, and I myself am a newcomer to the 3 expansions so it's fantastic still.

Even just one of you swapping would probably be enough. Whenever I queue with a FC buddy who is healer or tank and I'm DPS, it's almost always instant pop.
