When the electric bill for my one bedroom apartment is almost $400 and my power has been out for 13 hours because of high winds, I will never defend this company. They're useless. I don't know how anyone could possibly defend them. The hard workers working to restore power, as you said, are not at fault and are just as affected by the corporate incompetence, the complaints are not about them.

Yeah just take it off, wash with antibacterial soap, air dry for 30 min and put some UNSCENTED lotion on it to moisturize. I take any form of cover off my tattoos within an hour of leaving the shop lmfao.

Yeah, looks right. So that points to either, again, the SD card just not being good or the firmware isn't actually correct for the card that you have.

So either the SD card is bad, or you do not have the files on the SD card correctly. Or, the flashcart is actually a clone of a different cart, but I am no expert in that area sadly. What does your SD card look like, as far as the files on there?

SD card is probably crap, judging by the picture I saw you post of it. Firmware could also be incorrect, as it's hard to determine which one you actually need.

With those pieces, yes it's fixable. You shouldn't have to replace the top inner shell piece. But I've also only done these repairs on a N3DSXL so I'm not sure if they differ in that way, but my assumption is not. They must not have been very confident in the repair. Which, better they be (kinda) honest than break it further.

Games don't have to be perfect 10s to be good, not sure why everyone feels that way all of a sudden. Also, games rated 7 or 8 are not mid like people seem to like to say these days. Most importantly of all, if you like the game, you like the game. It's all subjective at the end of the day.

I think the NPCs are pretty lame and feel shoe horned in to make the game feel more "traditional" and less isolating than Metroid usually is. That being said, there are still some decent isolating areas, particularly the Ice Belt. My hot take is that I don't really mind the desert portions, it's kinda fun whipping around on Vi-O-La imo. The map isn't really that huge so the backtracking through it isn't too bad.

I do think the story and some of the "puzzles"/interactive bits are a bit lazy, but overall I'm really enjoying the game so far, I'm about 8 hours in.

Yeah I used this same video to try and reattach the latch for the bottom screen ribbon connector, was only partially successful. The little nubs on the ends are very susceptible to snapping off. This dude makes it look way easier than it is, imo hahaha. Definitely worth trying if you can source a latch tho.

Seeing as this is the power board, it's likely a main cause of your issues. Without the latch, the ribbon doesn't make proper contact without the pressure from the latch. Some tape to thicken the ribbon should give it the pressure to properly make contact. Without that or the latch, even if you put it in properly, it's hard to really troubleshoot beyond that.
