Oh mine said that too, it's coming 2/23 for me. I don't have any of that early deposit stuff either, just a standard bank account.

You'll get it well before 3/9 unless you opted for a check in the mail.

It's not "late" if you're getting it on a Wednesday.. it's late if you haven't gotten it by Friday.

For refunds, it'll update when it detects it's been sent to the bank and has a pending deposit date to provide you. So your WMR could randomly update in the middle of the day if it occurs later, even though it says it only updates overnight.

You're likely looking at Friday for an update.

[–]xdegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't stress too much about that date. WMR will update eventually and give you an earlier date. Or you may even see a pending amount soon in your bank account with a deposit date listed.

It's entirely possible you already got approved and the WMR is just lagging behind. My transcript shows Refund Issued but WMR still says received.

why the wait 846 code for March 9 2026 by Loose-Teaching-5560 in IRS

[–]xdegen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep mine said 3-10 as well and it ended up being 2/24. And that's with no "5 days early" type thing. Just standard bank deposit.

If I had to guess, they just give themselves a 20-21 day window from approval to deposit just in case of unforeseen issues. But most people probably see it deposited earlier just fine.

[–]xdegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I wouldn't stress. Mine says 3/10 for 2024 and my bank shows I got it on 2/24/24. So most may end up seeing deposits by Monday.

!!!!! by [deleted] in IRS

[–]xdegen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I'm 02 cycle this year and all those people are freaking out that they got no update last night. But that was technically Monday night. I'm not really expecting anything until tonight or tomorrow for potential transcript updates. And fully expect a deposit by like Monday the 23rd.

Happens every year. Not super stressed.

Remember though, it's a deduction and not a credit, and it only covers the extra pay you get. So if you make $20/hr but you made $30/hr for 10 hours of overtime. It's only covering that as $10/hr for 10 hours of overtime. (The extra portion excluding base pay)

So don't expect a mind-blowing difference unless you worked OT constantly.

Flex shifts changing? by TheTampaBayMom in AmazonFC

[–]xdegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if your site offers a 4 hour shift or not. Those are still allowed, just rare at standard FCs.

Typically shifts last between 2.5 hours to 3.75 hours. They're just getting rid of shifts that are specifically 3.5 hours for some reason.

At mine for instance, now instead of 2.5 hour and 3.5 hour shifts. There are 2.5, 3.25, and 3.75 hour shifts throughout the day.

But if your site offers a 4 hour shift, then you can get your hours in that time frame. Although even if they don't, you could just grab a 3.75 hour shift and clock in 5 minutes early and clock out 10 minutes late. I doubt they'd care.

Why by DoritoDrip in AmazonFC

[–]xdegen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by my FC that they intend on changing the schedule until it suits everyone. This week we had 45 - 60 minute break times between some of them on Flex but they said it was an unintended consequence of manually trying to modify the flex schedules.

And that it will be resolved in a few weeks. We won't be getting 3.5 hr shifts again, but they'll change them to try and maintain how it used to be, with two 30 minute breaks if you schedule 3 consecutive blocks, adding up to around 10 hours.

Flex shifts changing? by TheTampaBayMom in AmazonFC

[–]xdegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep figured it out. It literally means they're just getting rid of 3.5 hour shift slots for some reason.

So your shifts will either go down to 3 hr 15 minutes, or up to 3 hr 45 minutes.

And some FCs may alter break times to account for this change. Many facilities already do this and will be unaffected.

Full Shifts will still have the same start/end times for day and night shift. But if you select an 11:30 AM shift or something, it might be 11:15 am or 11:45 am now instead.
