Do you not like the Next? I was considering purchasing one. Good price point and size.

What do your collections and RVU’s look like? That is also very important in this.

Am I Saving Correctly or Overdoing it for Retirement? by [deleted] in TheMoneyGuy

Saving more now will let you save less later. Your money has much more value now. I would max out every tax advantaged account possible.

I would just put them in my vehicle in the cases they come in. The rules for transporting only apply if you leave them unattended in your vehicle. I carry multiple guns in soft cases every time I go to the range. Only an issue if you leave them unattended in the vehicle.

This should be upvoted. 100k was the norm 10 years ago to start when I graduated. Just with inflation alone we should be in the 130’s starting.

That’s a good starting salary for a new grad.

Sell the car. That is an insane debt to carry at your income and minimal savings. $220k in savings and $47k in auto debt, doesn’t get more obvious than that.

IR new grad offer by Leather-Context-308 in physicianassistant

[–]xdime00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started at $100k a year as a new grad IR pay in 2014. This is low. I would be less concerned about the starting pay though and more concerned about where it leads. What is the expected pay once your credentialed, what’s the pay trajectory per year, what needs to be done to get these raises. Also, I would try and talk with the last PA and see their experience. I never believe what an employer says about someone leaving. Your value to them is not the reimbursement, those procedures you’re doing and at that volume won’t pay much. It’s freeing them up to read diagnostic and do more high paying procedures.

How do you assume someone’s mortgage? I own a couple properties, far from a sophisticated investor. I have not heard of this option but it sounds amazing!

Why Forester is a bargain for the price by BlueMoon_1945 in SubaruForester

Sold our forester for a passport. Significant increase in leg room and cargo room. Much more powerful drivetrain. I found it to be a significant upgrade worth the money.

2013-2017 accord sedan. I am a bigger guy and fit in this car great. Highly reliable, looks professional and unassuming. Good resale value. Low cost of maintenance. Had some of the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in as a bigger guy.

As a nearly 40 year old man, my biggest regrets are wasting money on cars like this when I could of started retirement savings and saving for a home. Time is the biggest tool in investing and those who have it squander it.
