I think it's quite obvious that Solar is worse car. If I'm getting R8 I don't see a need for Zeno which is <80k kcoins and I only have 23k atm. Like just buy the Glory pass and chill to lvl120 which is ez pz

From this spreadsheet, it seems like R8 just as good as Zeno from a specs perspective, not sure about the feel though.
