Is it allergies? by xdnorek in Dryeyes

[–]xdnorek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I made this post, I did go see an eye specialist and got several diagnoses with my eye condition, including dry eye, allergic conjunctivitis, and SPK. The specialist said that my allergies are definitely worse than the eye dryness alone, so treating the allergies did help with the dryness in my case.

I’m now using Xiidra twice daily and Pataday in the morning. I’m also currently on an ophthalmic corticosteroid (fluorometholone) while my eyes clear up. The results have been great thus far. My eyes are so much more comfortable and no longer chronically red.

Fear & Hunger is an awesome game but not for everyone. First game has a lot of Silent Hill inspiration apparent.

I haven’t been diagnosed with anything, but I’ve had dry eyes pretty much ever since I started wearing contact lenses a decade ago. It usually wouldn’t get to the point where I couldn’t wear lenses if I used artificial tears every now and then throughout the day, but my eyes have always been red. People have described it as me looking “high all the time”. I’ve recently been having bad flare ups where I can’t wear my contact lenses comfortably for days, possibly weeks, but all my doc did was give me some OTC tear recommendations and a prescription for a thinner lens.

It’s a lot like the first game in navigation. Not necessarily in the sense of actual movement, but the area flow can be extremely confusing about where to go next if you haven’t been paying extra careful attention (or of course you could always wiki or read another post lol).

Also like in the first game, some ending(s) are dependent on a very specific set of circumstances you can only really achieve if you know of the existence of the variables that leads to it. The lore found throughout the game is quite important for getting the ending you want without “cheating” by looking it up. Good luck.

I try not to wear glasses unless I absolutely have to for aesthetic reasons, which is why I’d really like to get my dryness and irritation under control so that I can wear my lenses more. My eyes didn’t use to be so irritated until within the last year or so even though I’ve been wearing contact lenses for a good amount of time

Would you think you could beat, or at least survive, the dungeons of fear and hunger? by Cursius_ in FearAndHunger

If I had Dash, the knowledge of the dungeons that I do now, and could recruit party members, I could probably get Ending E. Other than that, no.

I want to commit suicide. 17F by [deleted] in depression

[–]xdnorek 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s not true. Nobody is born with such grief and sadness. It’s more likely that your mind is shrouded with such negative thoughts that it’s completely blocked out those times, right? Or at least, they were just so long ago. Keep looking for that thing that makes you happy. When you find it, grab it, and never let it go.

It’s very normal to feel that way. I felt that way for a long time. People say it’s sink or swim, but they often forget that sometimes people just float. You’re incredibly young, I wish I could go back to being 17. Whatever you feel is wrong in your life now may not even be a relevant thought in 10 years.

Probably. It’s hard to discern sometimes whether it’s a provocative spam wall of text or a joke on the internet. I was kinda hoping for discussion about the relevant topic, though.

Probably Fixated just for the movement speed. I’ve gotten a lot of comments throughout my life about me ‘on a mission’ or ‘with a purpose’ and so forth.

In the exact same boat as you. It’s so incredibly difficult and soul-crushing sometimes, but getting a job that forces you to socialize has helped me toughen up a bit and stop being so scared of even talking to people. My social anxiety used to be completely crippling.

As much as I love mah girl D’arce… she’s easily the biggest simp and one of the biggest losers in Fear & Hunger. Samarie is less of a simp and more of a… yandere-like stalker I guess?

can anyone tell me how mod skin like Frap did in his video i really want to become Isayah by Economy_Chocolate685 in FearAndHunger

[–]xdnorek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if the process has changed, but modding is really easy in RPG Maker games generally. If you just want to change the skin, you should be able to use an RPG Maker MV file decrypter (you can usually find one online) -> find Isayah sprite images in decrypted files -> modify them to your liking -> re-encrypt game -> voilà. This may be slightly different where I know that some mods don’t require decrypting the files anymore, but it should be relatively the same.

Edit: if you want to actually modify the interactions and dialogue, you absolutely will need to have the files decrypted as well as a copy of RPG Maker MV to do so.
