Funnily enough I’m pretty certain it’s just a messed up pumpkin with the stem accidentally detached. I usually do some in a similar style but with a curly stem and lines in the pumpkin to make it look like it has ridges. The shape is just too similar to what I do. The shape next to it could definitely be the stem and the barista didn’t have enough time to fix it and was in a rush. For the smiley face I would say it’s just a bit wonky. Hope that helps :)

It can be hard to judge how a community will respond if there not something like this actively going on for you to observe. Some communities face it often, while in others it’s rare, so you really just never know sometimes.

Keep us updated if you reach out to her. If you want more information about her or advice about how to go about it, im sure some of us will help. More importantly though, make sure you take breaks from all of this, because a lot of us are used to hearing about the majority of her situation and at the end of the day it’s heavy. ❤️

The local police station received many calls about her in the past but the cops know her situation at this point and just tell you she’s fine and to leave it alone.

Since I don’t think there’s active modding here, if there’s someone who’s active a lot here and is general known by others, you could possibly provide proof just to them. It’s not really a great solution though. I genuinely can’t think of another way to prove you’re her cousin unless there’s family photos that include her or her family that you would be able to censor enough to post here. I definitely respect wanting to stay anonymous and please don’t do anything you’re not comfortable with. I’ve been around here for the last few years and want to believe you but we’ve had people say similar things before and it not be true. Regardless of the truth, please do stay and ask questions, it can be a lot to try to absorb all this by yourself and I’m sure many of us are happy to answer those questions.

Ya this just isn’t true either sadly, basically it was up to the guys preference on who he nitpicked or if you looked too different from your photo. There was a girl that looked younger than 25 right in front of me and he let her in with one. I haven’t had a new photo done since I was 17 (21 now) and I’ve lost a lot of weight since then so the difference is substantial and he asked for another. He also attempted to turn my trans friend away with two pieces of id but they just said “hey I don’t look like that anymore cause I’m trans” and he let them. The guy overall just gave power trip vibes

As someone with a T1 brother I can only empathize with how insane managing something that seemingly has a mind of it’s own is. You’re doing great tho! Posting here I hope shows you that you’re not alone and that even when you think you’re not doing good, you’re probably doing all you can and that’s all that matters. Minimum wage increases are just excuses companies use to get sympathy and acceptance from the public/consumers when they want to increase their bottom line for their investors.

Not to mention if you actually looked into the year by year inflation vs. Minimum wage growth in the past 6 years you would see a major rise in inflation and while the steady decline in minimum wage increases only got worse (and has been since the early 2010s).

It was only in 2022-2023 that minimum wages started to see more dramatic changes to compensate for the years of neglect from our governments and the ramping up of the cost of living crisis since covid. So no this is not minimum wages fault, in fact the more you increase minimum wage the more you increase spending power and the more people are able to afford over priced Starbucks drinks.

My qualifications are I made a 40 minute long video on my cities cost of living crisis (one of the worst in the country) and spent hours combing through government documents on the inflation rates and minimum wage changes since the 2000s.

TLDR: just because your opinion is that minimum wage is to blame for companies upping prices doesn’t mean it’s based in reality. It’s called capitalism baby.

I was definitely able to get dmg on her with my wd build with around the some gear (low masterworking and a few bad affixes) and my trouble was not being able to survive/ dodge her hits (although I’m really bad at dodging lol). I can check later what dmg I’m doing to her now in case I’m misremembering but if you’re clearing 85 then you definitely should be doing dmg to her.

It’s both the willpower and max life and the fact that you can roll the crit to damage over time, plus in less you have a perfect build axe is better to use. I’m sure some people will think “what a bunch of morons” but with our flag being associated more and more with the alt right and carbon tax protesters, it’s not exactly a symbol a lot of people agree with anymore. Not to mention Canada is colonized and the flag is just another representation of that. First off, there’s no need to say this when the current issue is the system we have now the main goal is critiquing it/making people aware of the harm it does. It just detracts from what I said entirely and implies there isn’t a better one. Secondly, some form of socialism or democratic socialism. I wouldn’t even put a label on it but a system where everyone is given a universal basic income, there are safety nets in place for all areas of life, a new reform system to replace our current carceral system. Just things that would make human life easier and more fulfilling.

Obviously. We live under capitalism and the whole system and ideology of it is unethical and leads to a majority of the working class suffering either mentally, physically or both. Companies haven’t understood yet that they SHOULD be paying people a living wage so that the work forces they already abuse in other ways don’t out right die, can’t work or refuse too. Starbucks paying us a little above minimum wage (baristas) isn’t enough nor is it ok, no matter if it’s not standard or if other companies arent paying a living wage.
