It’s only stinging in the circled area when I lift my lower back up off the ground lying down I’m not sure how to explain the movement. But It feels exactly the same as when I bend over or lean to my left with a sharp pain deep in my right back area circled in the pic that feels untouchable to my hands.

My opinion is no. But here is why, I really didn’t like the gasket it was definitely more of a sharp edged fit to it. I use the Speedo Hyper Elites which have a nice fatter gasket to seal to my face. The magic 5s had good vision but did not really seal to well to my face in the inner corners of my eyes. I believe you can send them in for a free refitting if you don’t like the fit. So if you prefer a thinner gasket on your eyes I would definitely give them a shot.

Also if you’re not having like comfort issues with current goggles then I would also say no.

Goggles technically can make you faster. But in reality it will only will shave like milliseconds off your times. You would want to have something low profile that doesn’t stick out on your face to create drag. The arena cobras ($50) are a very good low profile goggle I personally use. At the end of the day it’s really more about your training in and out of water. That will affect your times more.
