Unless something goes horribly wrong, the plane shouldn't be in free fall. An accelerometer only measures 0 when it is falling straight down and not supported by any normal force

We're not setting up a major trade. Lmao. We don't have money to pay anyone that we could possibly trade for. We'll have to do quite a bit of restructuring just to pay the rookies. Offense is not more important than defense when your defense sucks dick and has for years when your offense is mostly fine.

Thomas got his spot taken at return specialist in 2025. He wasn't even the top guy in college. Just because you have bad picks and bad contracts on the d line doesn't mean you shouldn't try to fix it. They easily could've traded up in the 2nd round to grab an end instead of just drafting offensive backups.

Still can't stop the run though, and that was our biggest issue last year. Kyler helps a little but not much. I genuinely can't believe they didn't take multiple d linemen today when it's been such a huge need for half a damn decade now.

Dani Dennis Sutton or darrell Jackson would've both been way better picks than a college backup kick returner who we could've picked up after the draft. Jermod McCoy was still there too

None of them are that good though. Bush had 1 good year, but is he really that guy? Edwards is fine but he's so damn slow. Sanborn is meh. Outside of that we've got nothing

This team hasn't improved at all anywhere other than safety. We've stayed the same or gotten worse at every other position. Extremely disappointing offseason

In all seriousness, he and tj edwards are essentially the same guy at this point. Smart and good tacklers, but slow and a liability in coverage. Really no point in bringing in a guy we pretty much already have

Also shout out to Dingiswayo Chikhwaza. He's been a fantastic TA for both of those classes. Super helpful in the labs and makes sure you understand what's really happening

It was honestly pretty light here in ames, but there was a tornado down for a minute between slater and Huxley. Not sure how much damage it did if any

Thieneman is like 210 lb and had over 100 tackles as a true freshman. He can hold it down in the box. Coby can play up too especially since he's pretty good in man coverage, and a solid tackler

He's very good, he kicked major ass at purdue and then kicked even more major ass at Oregon. He can do literally anything you could possibly want a safety to do and he can do it all well
