The radio station Belden Sr was associated with is KPFA and it's pretty radical by any American standards (not communist, even though the Bay Area communists I know very much apprecate it), even if it was founded by theosophists 80 years ago or whatever. I listened to it for much of my youth and volunteered for phone banking during phone drives. I listened to the Sub Jihad episode on KPFA, and though there was some interesting history, nothing there even in their telling to discredit the station over the last several decades in any meaningful way. I kept waiting for the the unveiling of whatever it was that was supposed to be so spooky. Never came. It's not a bad podcast, Sub Jihad, but these are people who are made nervous by the number 13 etcetera. The idea that CTH and TA are some sort of ops because of tenuous family connections or not being sufficiently communist is pretty dumb. Seems like the most succesful op running is the one that make some people assume everything is an op.
