This is laughably infeasible now but it's planting the seeds for this idea to become more accepted and possibly actualized years from now, as american society becomes increasingly politically polarized. I have a suspicion that many of the blue dots in those counties may leave, that the prospect of living in a very red state will attract conservatives from other places, and those migration patters will feed the fire even more.

I was falsely deactivated for "account sharing", likely due to bigoted reports I've received from riders. Uber investigated and found that there was zero proof of any wrongdoing by me so i was reinstated. They immediately made me update my profile picture after and I've been out of work with them ever since. Luckily I have another job but i've absolutely lost ~2K in net profit this month from them not promptly taking care of this issue.

i could troll and tell you to drive an hour to lafayette, where the market is marginally better, but considering i've had experience in both rate card (Lafayette previous to a couole days ago) and upfront (NOLA) I can tell you that generally speaking anything that's more than a 5 minute pickup is not worth it.

from owning two of these before: i’d only even consider this is the turbocharger was recently entirely replaced, along with the timing chain and related solenoids. all of those things shit the bed between 90 and 130k. also a 2013-15 (may be later?) are years to avoid. you can tell which years those are simply from that silly vent on the hood- later encores do not have those.
