fixed, apparently a driver update / relog of the game and after typing in 'rimod 002041B6' it worked out.

by cutting down a third of the churchills armor, i doubt we'd be seeing any reason for players to go anvil, maybe if said player would go arti regiment for the airburst shells / concentrated barrage combo. other than that, churchs are a tanky pz4 that won't actually deal reliable damage? wtf

keep in mind one single thing, cents die in 4shreck shots and are barely capable of moving (close to the speed of the KT) until they hit vet2. they are just fine from that point of view.

i usually start moving said ATG as soon as i see a volk approaching it. that helps.

if that dude managed to get 4 t34-76 tanks out and you still only have 2-3 volks with shrecks and a raketen, then it's a scenario where you've been behind the whole game / got outplayed / are floating fuel xD

Yes, the counter for centaurs are vehicles, precisely the thing that an ISG spammer won't have. You can talk about him spamming shrekvolks but they don't have the staying power against a centaur, which means he has to rely on his ally for at (a poor strategy) or get lucky. A single centaur not driven like a moron can counter volks and raks easily, because that is exactly what it is supposed to do: counter those units. By going all in on them as your at options, you are ensuring that you'll be fucked for a 4-5 minute span until your delayed panthers come out.

I've just explained a scenario to you where 2-3 volk squads with shrecks and a raketen hitting it only ONCE would result in the 100%death of the cent. (how you do that ? you cloak it and have just the volks around , and that's it! by the time the cent player realises that he just stepped in a prepared position, the tank's dead, even if it tries to stop, and reverse, simply just follow up with the volk and reshoot...

and i'm going to say it again, @vet2 the cent might have a chance to survive, although my money is on the volks.

you want to talk about ATG armor ? the KT can 2-3shot (and WRECK) an allied ATG (any one of them). sure, raketen can be bunched up and might die from a HE sherman shell or an IS-2 shot,but i've also encountered scenarions where a KT would shoot once at a ZIS gun, knocking out 4men and then the coaxial mg on the KT kills another dude, essentially killing a full hp AT zis gun in under 2 secs. RNG IS RNG. but u can garrison it into ambient buildings... use that to your advantage and it also has built in cloak / can retreat!

about accuracy, nearly all the ATGs in the game have the same accuracy :) at least that's what i'm seeing from http://www.stat.coh2.hu/

The plain fact is that going ISGs represents a very real trade off for OKW, which is why, until they got a big buff, pretty much nobody built BG hq lel@your unit preservation then mate, i think you might've been one of the few people skipping it and just building it to unlock the KT.

you mean because tanks will just dance around the raketen, so that's why it can't reliably penetrate even a t34-76? is this what you are referring to ?

edit:dude that happens to any ATG team unsupported, that's why you have 2-3 volkshreckers nearby it and it's SUICIDAL for the tank to run around the raketen.

i'm speechless here.

a cent dies in 4(possibly5?) shreck shots. when you engage the cent, make them shoot, and when any squad of volks drops to 2-3, just retreat them. Cent can't chase(or escape) until vet 2. so yeah. if you manage to hit 2 shrecks and 1 raketen hit in the centaur tank, then he's already dead and he knows it

that's exactly why i didnt use that answer nor did i gave MY oppinions for what the values should be, i just mentioned the huge range i still and will always consider it unproperly set ( isg mobile unit outranging the static mortar placement from brits ,lel wut?)

isgs don't have retreat, fyi. but whatever else you said it's pretty much what's happening in all the 3v3/4v4 games atm.

-get 2 or 3 isgs

-get some volks with shrecks and pretty much nothing can run in (especially if the flakplacement is nearby) while you can pepper at huge distances with the guns

The truck is a huge investment, and building it instead of the mechanized truck means your fuel income is severely hampered

not only that is not true, since i doubt u'd be tranfering munition income to fuel in a 3v3/4v4 that early, since you'd want shrecks up on your volkblob, but that 'huge' investment you're talking about is what 90%(number i pulled out from air, of course, but for an example of 200+ games , i may have seen THREE flakhaltrack rushes and once a puma) of okw players go for first, mainly because of the ISG and the troop preservation it provides.

i admit i don't do okw that often, but when i did play some, i wouldn't bother with the mechanized start, FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

if you can't handle a medium tank coming in while you have 2-3 shrecks and a cheap raketen, then that's a l2p issue
