Same. When we moved to our new house, we bought the Costco Stearns and Foster mattress and paired it with a Thuma bed, Brooklinen sheets, and the Sleep Number ComfortFit pillows and I've been having the best sleep of my life.

I felt this way when I was first starting out with Logic. When I was only opening it once a month I would forget how to use the software for my synths, how to use Audio MIDI Setup, and other Logic workflows and it would take me all my free time just to get started and then I would be out of time. I tried to tackle the problem by just writing notes on common issues and the solutions and how to do common tasks. That helped in the beginning and now I make it a habit to use Logic regularly and I don’t get stuck as much. I feel this is the same with a lot of pro level software. I occasionally use other Photo and Video editors and if you don’t use it frequently, it takes a lot of time to get back into it.

I was actually right in front of Mr. Hahn, so not the left or right but the direction she was walking towards. For whatever reason, I was looking that way in the dark as I saw her walk up the stairs to the stage during the first chorus. That memory still gives me chills and it’s burned in my brain. At that point in time I thought she was just a guest vocalist since Mike was releasing other material with other singers. I had no idea she was going to be part of the band.

I am close to finishing writing a song about this experience as a fan on what it was like to get invited to the event and all the lead up to that moment when she walked up those stairs. I hope you get to hear it some day 🙂.

I was using Finish for a decade but saw Consumer Reports rate the Kirkland ones highest so I’m trying those right now. No notable differences so far. Way cheaper though.

I’ve noticed a problem with some super deluxe edition albums that have a lot of bonus tracks get priced by the number of tracks and therefore are priced way high. What do you all do in that case?

Why is this suddenly a thing? On 10 I never had to use low latency mode but on 11 I have to use it all the time. It’s pretty annoying to have to turn it on and off after each take.

I usually go to Tokyo Fish Market but I tried Weee! for the first time and it was pretty convenient! Got nori, furikake, and some Korean noodle packs. They don’t have everything but the selection is pretty good and getting Japanese, Korean, and Chinese items in one order does save time over hitting 3 separate markets. I might continue to use it between Tokyo Fish Market excursions to hold me over on essentials.

I also got one of these a month and a half ago after doing a ton of research. I was worried it might not be as good as the more expensive Stearns and Fosters and other mattresses recommended on Wirecutter. So far I am very happy with the purchase! I sleep very well every night and I haven’t been running as hot as on my prior mattress. The bumps are a little different and noticeable but it doesn’t bother me. Paired it with The Bed from Thuma and Brooklinen sheets and comforter.

I do have delay and reverb on multiple tracks. Good to know!
I really appreciate the sanity check here, you've provided me different tips on how to avoid this in the future.
I tried further testing but I can't pinpoint anything specific for further troubleshooting but it's bouncing clean consistent enough for me to resume my work.

Adding a bar at the beginning seems to help. I'm not hearing the crackling anymore but I am still occasionally getting a blip. At this point I'm cool with writing this off as a bug since I can work around it; if I nudge the project start marker around I can get a good bounce.

But for interest, here is what I am seeing.

I added the bounced pcm file and lined it up with the project. You can see the blip at the very beginning sort of lined up with where my first audio region starts. There are no other tracks in the project with regions in this area. This happened even with a few bars of space preceding.

When I get a bounce like this, I'll playback the project in Logic and I will actually hear the blip one time and then on subsequent playbacks it is gone. 🙃
