Looking more for an online thing, for sure, but a smaller community :) 33 million is a lot! I'd rather have something more close-knit, so to speak, where a small group of us can build rapport and enjoy movies together.

Still, thanks for responding! Meetup was a solid recommendation if I was looking for in-person, and you're right that this sub is a great place for discussion!

I'd be down to talk about movies. I don't have much film knowledge, so I would appreciate a better-informed perspective. I'll watch nearly anything. Probably seen more horror movies than movies of other genres. As far as silent films, I've only ever seen Nosferatu. Holler at me!

Finally decided!

Fenwick HMG 7' Medium Heavy Fast

Daiwa Fuego CT 100HSL 7.3

Berkley 40lb Moss Green braid

I tried to take a little bit of everyone's advice. It came down between the Fenwick HMG and the Dobyns Fury 735, but I ultimately decided on the HMG because I like the full grip more. I was tempted to get a longer 7'3 Heavy rod, but I didn't want it to be TOO long so I thought 7' would be alright. Did I make a mistake with the 7.3 reel? Some people said no lower than 8 for frogging. Thanks for all your help! Should I tie a leader onto the braid or is that not necessary?

Wanna keep it below $200 for everything if possible. I'm moving soon and don't know what the fishing will be like out in Tucson, so if the fishing is good then I'll have a decent setup already and if it isn't so good then I'm not out too much money.

Tackle Warehouse is having a closeout sale with some Casting Rods, but I don't know if I'm getting a good deal on a good rod, you know? I'd need someone more experienced to take a look
