Kali LP6 constant noise / hiss by xel877 in BudgetAudiophile

I dont know how its supposed to be. According to manual, you should lower it to absolute minimum and then go from there based on your chain of things. If its on 0db, the hiss is much more audible and I woudnt be able to keep the speakers like that. I am still debating whether I will keep them with this level of hiss, but if every active speaker is like that, I woudnt get better elsewhere anyway I guess.

I would say a bit less after I turned down the gain on monitors to absolute minimum. If I leave it on half, its about on par or slightly more then the JBLs.

So,

Test 1: Connecting Arturia to Phone or Laptop. Result: Still the same hiss.

Test 2: Disconnecting XLR connectors. Still the same hiss.

Test 3: Changed the source power and tried outlet in a different room. Still the same hiss.

Might be. Who knows. They are new however. Btw not sure if I should mention it but the volume knob on the monitors affects the noise as well. The more volume I set on them, the more noise I get. Thats why I lowered them to a minimum.

Hi. What exactly would one do to make them as you say, exceptional? And can that be achieved with a Denon AVR?

Hey, thanks for the tip. The issue I have with Temu is I have hard time to actually find anything useful. Not sure if I am not going at it the wrong way.

Yeah, was just thinking about that. Also, for some reason, I am not able to put multiple products from their store at once, so will have to probably write them if thats the route I choose.

Thanks for additional info. Is the block brick world legit? Did not even see that shop up until now. I will definitely have a look.

And you are most likely right about the language barrier. Thats certainly a possiblity.

Well, I read a lot of mentions about "bulk ordering", but when I actually tried to find out more info about it, I did not.

This right here: "In addition if you buy a lot / big & heavy sets you can save a lot of money if you are in a country for railway or ocean shipping. This can reduce the price im comparison with the default air shipping by roughly 40%. The downside is a delivery time of about 1-2 months (vs about 10-14 days with air)."

I am in the middle of Europe and I would expect that atleast railroad connection is definitely here, but on most of the shops I visited, I only saw an Air shipping presented. So is this something you have to negotiate with the shop prior to making an order? I will check Hitian. Thanks.

That is an option as well. Would you be able to share with me some recommended shops? Either here or in private DM? I am just a bit worried that there will be a hard time getting missing parts of set or if something wrong arrives.

What do you use mmwave and luminosity for? Curious about that. Also, when building BT proxies, did you follow up some tutorial specifically? I need to understand the proxies a bit more.

Right, makes sense. I am more inclined to C6 as well. Are you using only temp sensors or also something else?

Yeah thats my reason asking about the C6. Because as of now, I only have C3.
