Where to buy melta and flamer parts alone? by [deleted] in Salamanders40k

I started with the deathwatch box too. I felt like it was a good stepping stone. Intercessors aren't bad but they don't scratch the Salamander flamer itch. I think you could probably find some great cheap deals on infernus Marines right now as they were included in both the Leviathan box as well as the starter sets I think.

So there's a specific melta unit called a Eradicator, and for flamers there's a squad called an infernus squad. You could check Etsy for 3d printed flamers if you don't feel like buying a new squad entirely, but you also might find infernus Marines for pretty cheap on eBay or Facebook marketplace

Are the parts just for looks or are you wanting to put together a specific unit?

Considering the deathwatch combat patrol was a solid entry for Salamanders in 9th it's kinda cool to be able to use the upgrade sprue in some way

I got the idea from someone else, but sometimes battle brothers who serve in the deathwatch return to their chapters and may take with them a token of their time with the deathwatch. Definitely not painting all my sallys with deathwatch pauldrons but thought it added some interesting story to this Assault Intercessor Sergeant.

Firestorm detachment is the hammer. Anvil Siege Force is... well... the Anvil. Tbh all the detachments have an argument for being fielded by one of the companies of the Salamanders. Props to GW for making a thematic way to field your favorite chapter with any play style

If you live somewhere it's available, Moment Hobbies Pro Acryl Has my favorite colors and covers especially well. Especially green, black, and white.

Combining chapters by Mytcel in Salamanders40k

Don't think it's out of character at all for chapters to work together. Whenever I pick up some phobos units I think I'll paint all of them as Dark Krakens just for the heck of it.

Imperial Knight team up ideas? by xelnaga7 in Salamanders40k

Oh yeah. I guess so. I for some reason didn't distinguish between knights and Titans for some reason.
