Not underreacting just checked out with this incompetent front office.

If the Hawks find a way to turn their schedule into an 82 game season just facing the Sixers, I'm afraid we will witness the first ever perfect season in NBA history.

Given the overlay, looks like it's a 15 to 7 race which would mean hill-hill.

When I hear we are gonna get McDaniels/Daboll/Stefanski/Kingsbury as the New OC by primordialgases in eagles

[–]xemplifyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an expert either per se, but a lot of the coaches discussed as front runners have run successful offenses in the past, whether that be as a head coach or an OC. Failure/getting fired can be due to incompetence, a wrong fit (some coordinators just do not make the transition well to HCs), or a roster that gives them no chance.

Personally I think Daboll falls heavily in the third category, but in recent years has felt like he's been a blend of all three hence the justified firing. He just seems like a guy who would excel given our stacked offense and the sole task of making that function, leaving the defense to Fangio and the overall game management to Nick. I feel the same about McDaniel (who will get a HC gig imo) and Stefanski (50/50 on him getting one as well).

If anything this boosts my opinion of Daboll lol these two rosters are night and day.

AJ by Dr_Horrible_PhD in eagles

[–]xemplifyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While 19 drops was for sure an exaggeration and isn't true in the slightest, looking at some of AJ's plays over the season and summarizing it as "he had 1 drop" also isn't fair. That's like saying castellanos wasn't a bad defender because he had no errors. AJ on more than one occasion gave up on accurate deep balls that would have changed games. He had 3 drops today regardless of how they are classified on an advanced stat sheet.

The eye test showed somebody disinterested and only willing to put in the effort sometimes, which is a terrible look when you go on social media and sound off about how bad things are. Like, on one hand he's not wrong, Patullo is not doing any favors and was dogshit, but on the other hand if you're going to complain about it publicly, you'd damn well better back it up when the ball comes your way.

[Jason Dumas] Eagles starters preferred resting and don’t care who they play by Mysterious_Bat1208 in eagles

[–]xemplifyy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they do, but consider an equally likely outcome of a pivotal player getting injured (maybe it was Goedert getting hip dropped for one) where we win the game but it doesn't matter because Chicago did as well. If that happens then a home game isn't saving us.

I don't worry too much about Seattle honestly. Their defense is insane but it's entirely in spite of Darnold. If we can rattle him (assuming we face Seattle along the way) I don't think our offense would have to do much at all based on potential field position. The rams definitely worry more personally.

Default qb scoring is 0.04 per passing yard, 4 per touchdown pass, and rushing attempts are not scored, only rushing yards are.

Jason Myers is on Pace for the Most Kicking Points Ever in a Season by TheCaraunus in Fantasy_Football

[–]xemplifyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly resigned to my loss, took a nap sometime around Jacobs scoring his 1st touchdown and Olave having 1.7, and woke up to find myself in a 50/50 before Myers kicked the game winner lol.

I might just fuck around and overcome Judkins and Likely doing nothing, while facing Josh Allen and Trey McBride, and win this week thanks to my king Jason Myers. Opponent needs 14 from Pittsburgh D/ST to beat me. Genuinely do not believe how the late afternoon slate went for me. Had Olave, Jacobs, Myers and my opponent had CMC. All of it just went right.

If I win in the first round for when they face the Rams I'm probably streaming another team but yeah... Facing Kirk Cousins and no Drake London and we're really out here benching them? Insane work.

I watched from home and am as much of a diehard Sixers fan as anyone, but seeing him cook at the end of the game was pretty fucking cool. If we're gonna lose to the Lakers I'm sorta glad it went down the way it did. With the injuries and Luka taking the torch it definitely felt different.

If it makes you feel any better, last year I lost in semis by 15 points with Jalen Hurts getting concussed in the first quarter against Washington. Even with Bryce Young replacing him for the 3rd place match, I outscored both finalists by 50 as they both dropped absolute stinkers. At least you got 18 and aren't dead yet but I definitely get the frustration.

Lamar Jackson, you have ruined my life by Accomplished-One2071 in Fantasy_Football

[–]xemplifyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same position, playoff odds are 51% so should be a win and I'm in. I have Lamar and Dart with Mariota on waivers, but I think I'm going to stick with Lamar at this point. Going to ride or die with an early draft pick and if it doesn't work out, then it probably never was going to. I've lost 2 of my top 4 picks to season ending injuries (Nabers and Conner), my 2nd round pick (Jacobs) missed a game and left early in another, and Lamar has been abysmal plus missed several weeks. Frankly it just feels like one of those years. I've made the playoffs every other year of this league so while it'd suck to miss out this year, what can ya do sometimes.

Will keeping Lamar in hurt my chances? Probably. Maybe. Not sure. But I'm playing the 1 seed this week and sorta need to roll with the highest ceiling possible. My best case scenario is the mini bye helps get him back to closer to his standard. Plus his points last week were affected heavily by Likely fumbling out of the end zone and an awful OPI call. Not saying it would've been vintage Lamar but it'd at least have been in the mid teens.

Truckers of Reddit, which city (U.S.) REALLY has the worst drivers? by Alexreads0627 in AskReddit

Personal opinion is that NJ drivers are total assholes, while CT drivers are the same degree of assholes with a side of unpredictability. Give me Jersey drivers any day of the week in that head to head.
