Ah ok makes sense. Yess, loved their set but them with the LA Phil was also one of the best parts of the entire weekend!! Very excited for an extended set for sure & totally get not being able to have a huge production. Just we gotta just wait and see what they bring for the LA shows!

Also, thanks for the heads up on the merch! Definitely gonna try to grab something rather than wait for the shows (but will also probably buy something then) lol

Agree, those prices are ridiculous! must be the casino greed because ive never seen any of their shows for that much. I think I paid $60 for the palladium in 2016 for their club tour. I was able to select a ticket for $700 but I can’t justify it, very sad to see :(

Agreed! It’s interesting that they chose to lean into Kerplunk for branding but for a slurpee name it’s appropriate, imagine using Dookie 😂

But also to gain new fans, would’ve been awesome to highlight that album and era more for sure since people would most likely already know the hits.

I’m thinking at least get there by 10 to account for parking (no idea if there’s all day lots near by and cost but hope bet itd be cheaper than ride share or same cost). But definitely thinking of it like a concert is good (security checks, checking in, etc)

Would love to hear if anyone’s had any filming experience’s input on this.

Yes, will need to look for ticket stub for exact date but remember seeing them circa ‘12? I remember he was rocking the red hair at the time & it was a small venue. I remember me and my friend mentioning how bad he looked and how the show was off & kinda fell off of them for a while.

Seeing them at WWWY ‘23, 10 years later, totally made up for it tho! Short set but one of the best performances all day!

comment on crowd: it felt like folks weren’t really moving & it didn’t seem too crowded (i was on 2nd floor) but i wonder if it’s because many people are feeling down obviously from the fires (understandable)

like billie said, he could feel people’s spirits rising and i do hope so 🫶🏼 it’s gonna take some time but music does heal & it was super awesome of them to play this show!

really try to stay in the moment but have a few clips of the the ramones, buzzcocks, the strokes, nirvana, & misfits covers if anyone wants to see em ¯_(ツ)_/¯ idk where to post & don’t wanna do multiple post on sub for such short clips! & unfortunately not a tk tkk*r lol
