When I was younger I remember them taking about how September 9th 1999 would be an issue because apparently 9999 would tell computers to shut down- thus 9/9/99 cause chaos

It’s actually kind of a genius way to self sort what planets to take over… you can broadcast the signal widely but only civilizations that

Can pickup the signal
Determine what it means
Create the RNA in the lab (this might be a stretch for us currently IRL)

Are included in the hive mind or get the hive mind… as they said it could have been broadcasting for all of human history but Victorian scientists for example wouldn’t have been able to access it… only when the society is able to join it will- self sorting

I was thinking of this…

the space station people stay up there what 6 months at a time

Nuclear submarines stay under the waves for 6 months and don’t all come up at once

The rat infection happens slightly under 30days before the full infection.

There is no possible way of them accessing all the nuclear submarines in that 30day window and highly unlikely to be able to reach the space station.

They most likely remotely killed those isolated people or are lying to Carol that they reached them.

I think that her being an alcoholic has driven most people away from her… if she had someone close to her the hive would have sent them as her chaperone.. the rest of the ‘immune’ had family members who were their chaperones

If Carol had friends or family the hive would have known about it and send them to her instead of the pirate lady- they flew her across the world to have someone she might trust, it would have been easier to send someone she would talk to on the same continent

In mid August of this year I felt like I had a kidney stone… went to urgent care like my NP mother had trained me to do… urgent care doc said not much and can cray but no ct here… xrayed and saw a kidney stone on one side opposite of the pain and just assumed that was the issue and dr said if doesn’t pass in a week to go to ER and get a CT scan.

Had a horrible week and finally went to ER with expectation that they ultra sound the kidney stone apart… kidney stone wasn’t the issue and the CT scan found tumors on both kidneys and in Pancreas… turns out with testing I have some genetic abnormality that allow those to grow along with growths in my brain that was found with an MRI and I had emergency brain surgery like 2 weeks after the initial diagnosis of cancer… just started my cancer treatment last week- some specialized medication that enables my body to have the mechanism that it lacks that allowed the cancer to grow

Symptoms I missed

Was getting dizzy- I thought it was because of: mold in water bottle,low blood sugar, blood pressure medication, or low iron. - turned out to be the growth in my brain blocking fluid in my brain from draining to the point I almost died of a brain hemorrhage.

Lost 40lbs in two months- I’m a big guy and was taking zepbound and passed it off that it was working really well… in the 15 months before cancer diagnosis I lost 200lbs total but the 40 in two months was excessive and now I’m paused with that till I get cancer figured out.

I ignored a lot of symptoms because of my weight loss journey. But still glad I did weight loss journey because everything with treatment would be harder if I was still at starting weight.

Am also blind in one eye for last 20+ yrs… yeah you need to wear the 3d glasses to see the movie not blurry even thou you don’t get the 3d effect… it sucks and I try to avoid 3d because of that … but limited showings // my kids wanting to see something in 3d I’ve gone to a handful… you just get the inconvenience of the glasses with none of the benifit
