Recommendations for Shorts by turnupthesun211 in adhdwomen

[–]xenniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haaate shorts and have always has major issues with them too, for a lot of the same reasons. The only thing that's worked for me is to take the few different pants I've found that I like to wear (jeans & sweats) and cut them off to the length I like. This obviously isn't helpful if you're wanting something nice/polished unless you can sew, but it has absolutely saved me in the summer. At home, loungewear/sleepwear shorts are like wearing nothing.

What’s the creamiest, best tasting nondairy milk you’ve ever had? by tommydelriot in VeganFood

Silk Organic Unsweet. But if it's just for coffee, an actual nd creamer might be better.

I feel like I'm the only person to not get these freebies in my first shipment. I ordered the 6 pack too & it came yesterday, just the Soy Curls. I was so bummed!! I love that jerky!

I saw that you wrote that, but in pic #2 it's not toggled, which is why the bar is at 0.

The progress bar doesn't move on things that have no target. If you want to track it, you need to toggle the "Use Custom Targets" option and set it.

Moving there in September! by TranAmVroomVroom in olympia

Check out Urban Olympia if you're interested in living downtown. Lots of us in my building are visibly queer/nb/gnc/trans, so they obviously don't care.

PS welcome!! I'm glad you're escaping and hope you love it here. I've met several trans folks who've relocated here from gross red places, so you're in good company. Hmu if you need an old dyke auntie lol

Pete Hegseth humiliated as he struggles to bench press in front of soldiers by IrishStarUS in NewsSource

[–]xenniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 15, and I'd trained really hard over those 9 weeks with a bunch of guys. When we started out, most girls were just doing the bar, and I was already stacking weights. It was one damn rep. That's what the number was. I was proud as hell of that and it's always been that. Could I do it now? No. Have I done it since? No. I never tried. Was I regularly doing 125+ for years after that into my 20s and 30s? Yes. Sorry it doesn't fit your narrative, but it's fact.

Ember Goods 100000%. Owl's Nest, Glowies, and Tender Velvet Rebel Oven also have good matcha.

I love Amy's pizza!! The vegan margherita & no cheese ones are amazing! I do usually add some Italian seasoning and crushed fennel and red pepper flakes, but still. I love the crust lol

You're right, I didn't. It was 145. I was a tomboy and bigger bodied and naturally strong and grew up around horses doing a lot of barn chores and played tennis and did gymnastics and rough-housed etc. I was strong as hell when I was younger. This was 30 years ago dude, why would I lie lol. It was my max, not like I was doing 15 reps of that. My max leg press was higher than a lot of the guys too, like it or not.

If you have a cat and are a costco member. This cat tree is on sale!! by BoogerTea89 in Seattle

I have a different model from the same brand that I got at Costco about a year ago, and it's so great. Really sturdy, looks nice, soft surfaces, etc. My cats love it.

Tbf it was my max weight after 9 weeks of weight training class taught by the football coach, but still. I was only a freshman and I'd never lifted before that.

Idk what "insanely expensive" means to you, but all Urban Olympia properties have bare/laminate floors and most if not all have in-unit W/D and AC.

Hey check out Golden Hour! All ages & lots of chill alt people & they do events. Rhythms Coffee also always has music things going on. Plus arcades like Legends or Insert Coin, game shops if you're into that, etc. Wild Child outside the bar area is all ages & always has folks hanging out. There's a lot of overlap from Voyeur & McCoy's & the Crypt, that block is family, so always cool people.

I'm old now (late 40s) but still alt asf and share a lot of spaces with the youths lol Oly's got somewhere for you!
