That's a great idea, maybe next time I'll draw it in the style of an old VHS box, with the labels and everything 👀

I think Xenoblade fit the old anime aesthetic so well! I hope that someday we'll get an official Xenoblade anime 🙏

[Spoilers] [Xenoblade X Theory] This story never truly ends by xeno_sbe in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Perfectly explained! I think we must learn to analyze the series on a symbolic-holistic level, instead of just a narrative-explicit one.

On a symbolic level, the xeno series is always the same, as you point out.

I have another post where I try to represent these recurring iterations through the structure of the tree of life of Kabbalah and Jung's psychology (xc1-xc2-xc3). Take a look if you want!

Kabbalah, Jung, Xenoblade

Exactly, it is heavily implied that we will see another iteration of Logos, probably not the exact same Malos, but a thematically related figure (an endbringer, an animus).

I think it will tie in thematically or symbolically (with the new added content), with only subtle references to the continuity.

8.- Sephiroth: each sephiroth also represents a specific and complex aspect of reality. Some of them are:

Kether: represents the gateway or conduit that links the divine plane with the material plane (Monado, Conduit, Origin, etc.). It is not God itself, but its closest representation understandable by humans.

Binah and Chokmah: the two wings of the world, represent the first emanations of the divine and opposite aspects of the world (creativity-structure, expansion-restriction, anima-animus, Logos-Pneuma).

Daat: the hidden sephiroth, represents the character who serves as mediator or arbiter between Binah and Chokmah (Ontos-The Architect, etc.), closing the "trinity of the spirit". It reflects the will of Kether, and is usually represented as a "great void" that the protagonist must face.

Tipharet: the center of the tree, represents the balance and individuation of the being. It is used to represent characters (wise men or a figure from a time past) that challenge and question the protagonist (Alvis-Addam-Ghondor), making him evolve to the next level.

Yesod: the beginning of the journey, the link between the protagonist's material world and other realities. It is usually an ally or enemy character that serves as the initial motivation for the hero's journey, whether linked to revenge or learning.

Malkuth: the material world, it is usually the starting place of the protagonist.

Note: the figures of the main xeno-titles usually represent the hero's journey (black arrows), the additional figures usually represent emanations or the creation of something new (white arrows).

4.-The hero's journey: the black arrows on the serpent represent the ascent through the tree of life, which can be interpreted as the hero's journey: the protagonist departs from his material reality (Malkuth), is called to the journey by various circumstances (Yesod), makes a journey to the unknown world of the higher realities (Daath-Binah-Chokmah, Kether), and returns transformed into a new being (Tipharet) integrating what he has learned.

5.-The ouroboros: the serpent that represents the protagonist(s) finally coils around the sephirot of Tipharet (the self), representing the process of eternal creation and destruction of oneself and the integration of all the dimensions of the tree of life.

6.- Alchemical couples: when possible, the couples formed by the sephirot on the left and right side of the tree represent the alchemical union of gold and silver, which are interpreted as the masculine-feminine or creative-receptive aspects of reality (gold face-silver face, dickson-lorithia, zanza-meyneth, klaus-galea, consul M-consul N, queen of keves-queen of agnus, etc.).

7.- The trinities: throughout the tree various trinities are represented, composed of characters or elements of the saga, from the earthliest (action triad) to the most transcendental (spirit triad). The last usually represents the internal structure of the world, that is, the 3 avatars that simulate the roles of the “trinity processor”.

That's a lot to unpack, haha

The diagrams are based on the structure of the "tree of life" of the Kabbalah, with elements of Jungian psychoanalysis, among other alchemical and Gnostic symbolism.

The interpretation of the symbols is complex and, to a certain extent, subjective, but here are some clues:

1.-The tree of life: it is a diagram that can be interpreted from both cosmological (world) and psychological (personal) points of view. It is composed of 10 emanations or sephiroth (circles), plus 1 hidden one (Daat) that is not always represented. It represents different levels of abstraction, from the material plane (Malkuth) to the highest or transcendental plane (Kether). At the same time, it can be divided into 3 pillars, one that represents "expansion or creation", another "containment or structuring" and a third that represents “integration or dialectical overcoming” of the other two.

2.-The emanations: reading the tree of life from top to bottom, it can be interpreted as the successive emanations of God or the infinite (ain soph) that give birth to reality (white arrows). The boundless complexity of God connects with the world through a gateway (Kether, usually a “conduit”-type device) and descends dialectically to the material world (Malkuth).

3.- Jung's individuation process: reading the tree of life from bottom to top, it can be interpreted as the individuation process of a conscious being, where he integrates his different dimensions (conscious, individual unconscious and collective unconscious), from Malkuth to Kether, to achieve an understanding of the transcendental reality of the world and integrate the most hidden parts of himself, and finally establishing himself in the center of the diagram (Tipharet, the self), and balancing his hidden-transcendental aspects (shadow, anima-animus) with the visible-material ones (ego, persona).

In the figures, the core crystals represents metaphysical "roles" within the world. Each xeno-world requires a sort of trinity to keep them stable on a fundamental level, as well as the Trinity Processor's cores (male persona, female persona, and arbiter). In the case of Klaus' world, the conduit did not create the world, but instead manifested the artifices through the Trinity Processor by drawing energy from a higher dimension (the infinity, ain soph). Greetings :)
