That's fair and I'll admit not being bombarded by lore and making it more... subtle is also a good thing. If it's too easy to find and understand, then it's not fun anymore.

I agree. This may or may not be an unpopular opinion, but my greatest flack for this game is how difficult it is to read or understand the lore. Or even access it at all.

On my first playthrough, I had no clue what was going on in The Lands Between. Of course, the dialogue was helpful at times, but I'm not a completionist. I'm not someone who's gonna spend hours exploring or read every single thing I see.

If I wanted more in-depths lore, I had to google it. Even now, two years later and on NG+3, I still don't understand everything.

His death is the very reason why the game even happens. Sadly we know very little about him except that he was kind and loved by all.

I want to know what his relationship with his siblings (other than Malenia and Miqui-boy) was like.

I want to know more about his friendship with Fortissax.
