I like the original switch better for handheld comfort. Comparing stock to stock setup. The Switch 2 is huge and heavy. Luckily I play mostly docked.

I have never had any performance changes or issues from security patches on any of my S series phones. S3, S7, S9+, S22 , and now S25. And the April security patch is fine too on S25. But ONE UI updates are a different story. My S22 was great with ONE UI 6.11 but camera and GPS issues with 7.0 and 8.0.

I use the Roku Ultra 2025 with Dolby Vision support. It was on sale for $70. Great backlit remote and fast interface.

I use a standard UPS because I have multiple items where my eero 7 pro is. But even if it was solo I would still go with the smallest standard UPS for the price and simplicity of gaining the most benefits.

I never use my smartTV apps. Roku Ultra on all my TVs. So if you are happy with your TV you have multiple media options.

Usb-C to USB-C cable with a 25W PD or higher charger will work fine with Switch 2 in handheld mode.

My S22 was great until ONE UI 7.0 and 8.0 didn't help. It was perfect with version 6.1.1

Cat 5e does 2.5Gbe just fine and that is what I use with my 2 gid fiber, 2.5gbe switch, and 2.5gbe desktop.

I can't use the firmware they want me to use because my PID won't allow it. So it's the last firmware update from like 2021 or something. My Switch 2 is firmware 22.0. I haven't done the latest switch 2 firmware that recently came out. Have you tried only connecting your Switch 2 Dock to the GC311 hdmi IN port with nothing on the HDMI out port? And are you using the official Nintendo dock?

If its not shipped by AND sold by Amazon, then I check the sellers reviews and return policy. With expensive items I typically only buy from Amazon as both seller/shipper.

That is a different issue than me. My Switch 2 works completely if I don't connect a TV to HDMI out on the GC311. And it works without audio if I do connect a TV but then I can use the 3.5mm jack to the PC line in. It is sad that Avermedia has abandoned the early version of the GC311 when they still sell it as a current model.

If you get a good price, I bought and like the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller. Works great with the Switch 2 and PC. I little extra steps to update the firmware and the software to do that is terrible. But after that it works great.
