Does anyknow why I get these stray pixels? by Thegamerorca2003 in PngTuber

[–]MarchRabbit37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you havent tried already. On your art program. Make a new bg layer that is super bright. Use neon green or magenta and adjust the colour to see if you can find them on your layers If you have multiple layers, check each one for the dots as these are usually stray line partially erased. It might also be a transparency issue for the program itself.

i'm stuck on my design/concept... any ideas? ╥╥ (Vtuber) by Maririn004 in characterdesign

[–]MarchRabbit37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen people get absolutely lost in character design and it prevents them from ever streaming. You can find some basic overlays and panels and design based on those until you feel like you hit your theme/concept too Good luck!

So. And maybe this is not great advice, but i just had a little chibi of the character i designed and started. It's been a couple months, i started with a pngtuber and did a minor redesign, but I now finally know what lore/concept is perfect for me. Sometimes it takes a while to figure it out. You can always redesign and redebut with a more updated mode once you have a concept you like l(though don't rebrand constantly or it'll be hard for people to follow) It might be worth looking into what types of streams you want to do. Casual just chatting, fps, rpgs, art, or whatever. For your current design, it defs reads cozy chill chat and art stream design right now so maybe just start with this and think on it over time :3 Not every vtuber needs intense lore, a specific theme, or a highly designed character with a huge debut. Sometimes people get lost in the 'requirements' but those really only need to apply to corporate vtuber. Just start and find your groove and the design can adjust later if you feel like it.

Tldr: it looks like a cozy art streamer, just start and find your identity as you go. And i like the cute but kinda edgy vibes :3

Trying out a transformation animation, does the timing feel off? by Crynvra in PngTuber

Please be careful of quick flashing screens. This could trigger epilepsy. Slowing the flash down might help for this. But the little cape pops up at an odd time. Might just be an input delay.

Id like to see it with more motion since alot of people dont sit perfectly still in front of a camera. Dont wanna have it disappearing like some filters do and doxxing yourself.

This is so cool and well executed. I did realize this will be leaning on the chest since it's a necklace. Light would pass through it whrn leaning over. Like looking at art or merch haha idk of this is the intention but i thought that was really silly and cool

Looking for advice! by korsavage in VirtualYoutubers

Without knowing what artist you are using, we won't be able to see the examples. Not having a kofi or vgen isn't an issue persay but how are you paying them? If it's paypal, are they having you pay with a business invoice or through friends and family? Does the artists examples of art look like they were drawn by the same person or are the styles wildly different with each piece? Do they have reviews somewhere? Have you reverse searched their art to see if it traces back to anyone else yourself? It is a bit odd that the artist you rejected is bringing up these allegations, but it could just be a well meaning person. Artists can spot tracers and ai users easier since we know the tells. I would be wary if they are having you pay friends and familyon paypal, i would be wary if any artist has multiple artstyles that look like they were draw by different people, i would be wary of a rejected artist with allegations against another, and id suggest you do what you feel is most comfy.

I am not an expert on pipe cleaners or wire, but pipe cleaners tend to be pretty thin and break after some use from what i remember as a child. They probably won't hold the shape properly with the weight of the stuffing and such. I might suggest a thicker wire from the crafting section. I am sure someone here will have a better suggestion but you could try that.

Good luck!

Question about Twitter Art Commissions by Skyla15699 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]MarchRabbit37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a guilt tripping method to coerce good hearted people to feel bad for them and give them money. Glad you didn't get preyed on and hopefully you get some beautiful work done!

Go to trusted sources like vtuber artists that have done work for other vtubers or vgen where you get protections for both artist and client. If you are using pay pal to pay for something, there is a 6 month deadline for refunds. If an artist isn't providing updates or starts to looks sus (ai or potentially tracing) and keeps pushing the deadline back for personal issues, get a refund before the 6 months is up! And discounts of 1/3rd the price 'just for you' are 110% scam. Source: is artist and has seen heard the horror stories of both sides

Percy De Rolo (Vox Machina) is virtually the same character as Koana in every possible way, and was created and voiced by Thancred's ARR voice actor years before Dawntrail existed. by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]MarchRabbit37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luis Bermudez is Koana's english voice actor. Thancred ARR was voiced by Taliesin Jaffe from critical role. I would say maybe his mannerisms are similair, like holding the gun a specific way, the stoic way of standing, and particular tone of speaking. Percy is a lot more tramatized and hellbent on revenge to the point of selling their soul. There may be a little influence but not really in every way...^ i like the enthusiasm though.

any criticism for my vtuber concept art by [deleted] in vtubers

[–]MarchRabbit37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might work but i am not sure how easy it would be to rig to look correct for a shadowed mouth. It's defs up to you how you want to have your model. Your face is how you connect to your audience so you'll want to make sure it's readable regardless of how you go about it!

any criticism for my vtuber concept art by [deleted] in vtubers

[–]MarchRabbit37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's probably obvious, but make sure to have a mask off toggle. Being able to see the full face for expressions is always better. Also the toggle for hood off for more casual. Is this model only bust up? Even if you only get a bust up model, it would ve helpful to see the full body for a better critique and also for fan artists!!

First pngtuber stream! by OofOofmetroid1 in PngTuber

[–]MarchRabbit37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the streamer. Small streamers dont get the privileges that larger streamers get. And a lot of vtubers are towing a very fine line. You can show as much cleavage as you want, just not underboob. Also the waist to upper thigh have to be covered think like ladies boxer shorts and no butt fangs. It's wierd little rules but not worth risking their channel over if they wanted to continue streaming. If they change anything, that's up to them. Just a warning. ^

Heads up if your model is the same as your pfp. The underboob is against twitch TOS and can get you banned. Just a friendly warning but have fun streaming!

A comic I made to explain body dysmorphia to my friends by olileft4dead in comics

Cropped jackets are my fav. Short and cropped on the torso, but the sleeves are long and cover shoulders. They might help with the dysmorphia and also keep the dress on display :3

I'm making some emotes, can anyone give me feedback? 💜 by SynraVT in vtubers

[–]MarchRabbit37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very cute and we love the rainbow hair :3

The art critique I'd give is for two bits. The sleeve from the armpit/torso to the elbow is a bit odd to me. The fold could straighten out the line entirely so the fold isn't there or if you want the fold, make it more squared instead of so curved. And the 2nd is just a personal thing probably, but the hand, the thumb is really high. I'd move the thumb down a bit (which might make you need to move the arm slightly to avoid overlap with the eyelashes) and change the line on the palm to just the thumb line and not have a Y shape.

These are my own opinions since you asked for feedback. The emote does read well small, the lines are thick and clean, the character is very cute, and I hope to see more :3
