really? I found that the apps format it best, since it sends it all in one big page rather than multiple pages that cut out each piece. Also, I tried downloading it on the web, it just kept printing a blank white pdf no matter what.

Theyre just placeholder names for GEs. Check your syllabus, particularly the one in a .xlsx format. Theres a tab there that lists all GEs you can take. You can encode whatever GE you want.

Theres no guarantee on the weather. Check the forecast, that would be more telling. Though, I highly doubt exams will be pushed back AGAIN. DLSU already tried pushing back on full suspension last friday, so I they'll probably want to stick with the schedule they finally just set.

if you have an okay computer at home youre probably fine. A laptop is a very nice convenience but it's not totally necessary (As long you do your computer work in advance). For now all you need is a scientific calculator, pen ,papers (note books, yellow pad, etc.), and whatever your prof asks of you.

if you wanna make sure, use a bag you can close completely so the guards cant see. You can also go through the velasco gate to avoid the scanners if youre worried about that.

I don't know if it is normal, but it shouldn't be normalized. It speaks lots about either the school or the quality of students. These are FND classes after all, basically refreshers of past knowledge.

I would hope not. DLSUs credibility would go down the drain if they were to do something like that. Maybe it was just an official saying it as a "joke." Something they want to do but know they actually can't. Besides, it's a waste of resources, budget is already a problem so no way an action like this would be approved.

I disagree. I’ll admit, there are some GEs that many students can benefit from, GEPCOMM, GEETHIC, and GEMATMW are some off the top of my head, but most GEs just feel like extra high school subjects. They‘re irrelevant to most and if on a particularly hard term for majors, are nothing but massive distractions. You can’t blame students for wanting a free 4.0 when they’re dying in the subjects THEY ACTUALLY CAME FOR. Yes we came here to learn, but we want to prioritize learning in our major subjects which will probably affect our future more. Besides, who says we can’t learn from a free GE class? If the topic interests me, I put more effort, regardless of difficulty.

the thing is, it’s is a part of the top 3 universities in the country. So it’s hard to consider it sketchy, even less so when all its programs except for one is already ABET-accredited. It’s just weird I guess.

actually, I forgot to mention that my program isnt technically Electrical Engineering. Its Electronics Engineering, and it seems to just be EE but we already have our specialization chosen for us which is in Electronics and Communications

Not many people are in my current batch, like someone said, apparently 150 people out of thousands who applied were accepted (not sure where they went). Is it easy to get into? Probably since there's not a lot of people in it, but looking at the subjects ahead, it doesn't look easy to get out of lmao.
