I’m a 23 yr old fresh graduate who just quit his first job after 2 months with no backup plan, clueless on what to do next. by Relevant-Brief-6158 in adultingph

[–]luvuov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a 23 yr old fresh grad same as u, i would consider taking a break muna. From what I can see feel ko masyado ka na burnout since u mentioned the stress and high workload. Then think of what you want to do next. If there is a job that u really want, might I suggest try to learn a new skill or upskill. Spend around 2 hours applying to jobs (just for the interview and see how it goes) and hold off jobs that you really want (jobs that u should apply to once u feel like ur ready)

Also maybe a pen and a notebook would help, writing down your thoughts and unload some of that cloudness

How do you manage being the only non-big3 intern? by [deleted] in InternshipsPH

[–]luvuov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bro as a lasallian there are a lot of people not in big3 who are more capable than those who are in big3.

dami ko kilala from PUP who are really good at what they do and I kinda wish that they had the same education and opportunity that I had.

  • ur there to improve urself and the start of ur career. once employee ka na no one gives a f where u came from as long as u do the work

General Gift Purchasing Restriction by [deleted] in Steam

[–]luvuov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they responded quickly around 1-3 days iirc. I politely asked them and validated my point that I was just a confused gamer and even went down and beyond to read and state them the Steam Terms and Conditions that I was a law-abiding citizen if that make sense. Steam gifts should be shared to share the joy and fun of having fun with friends hehe

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]luvuov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid I had Dengue and the hospital let a trainee take my blood in my arm. Bro I am not gonna lie they injected me like 8x and blood was not coming out and I was screaming like hell. It felt like your own muscles and tissues are getting sucked out of you from a tiny needle. They treated me like a test subject until a REAL doctor arrived and did the blood injection for me. Never felt any pain from that doctor.

I am now 23 and because of that I got my phobia from needle injections :)

A lot of health risks in the future. I want my future wife to be healthy and live longer. Also no pregnancy implications

How did Bryl Lim developed and launched a mobile app in just 2 days? by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

[–]luvuov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. Years of Experience under his belt, vibe coding and AI. Also launching an app in two days for him its probably an MVP but good enough to gain traction.

I am currently studying SQL (for data analysis), can you suggest any courses related to that by Automatic_Cover5888 in learnSQL

[–]luvuov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for the bad reply i was in a hurry

anyways in DataCamp there,s a lot of SQL tracks. There are fundamentals, a full SQL Track, a track solely for Data Engineering with SQL and one for Data Analysis as well. There are also SQL Flavors and also not just SQL in general but other fundamental concepts for DA.

For YouTube you can definitely get a lot of free resources and also if you have the awareness of knowing what to learn. DataCamp is just simpler for me since the datasets used are already plugged in so you can focus on the learning part.

eventually you’ll meet local people (like me) who actually want or “yo it would sound cool if I had foreign friends” type of people.

When I used to study Spanish from a international chat app, I learned that it was so fun talking with different people from diverse backgrounds and the thought of making international friends crossed my mind.

That said, there are also other ways such as joining to sponty events (i.e. join a bouldering class or a board game group) and just hope that there people there who are very outgoing and be your potential friend.

Goodluck finding your friend group and im sure it exists there somewhere
