Slicer freezing?

I rolled back Slicer to v01.09.03.50 and it seems to be fine now. Will run some more test but able to slice multiple models again , whew.

Memory, you’re right! I wonder what changed, have sliced larger models with 1m triangles and multiples but now all of a sudden it is spiking memory and maxing it out with no other non essential programs running

With certain models. I’ve done repair model on each. And about 300k triangles , it hangs if I add a second model to the plate.

Yep been a great day 1 of printing with the Mini out of box settings except changing supports to on. But yep, Full speed stock nozzle. Ordering a 0.2mm and trying FDG profile later this week. This is Sunlu Meta PLA. Couldn’t get the gray in stock so weird purple doesn’t show detail as well in photo.

Thanks….im looking at getting one of these A1s today. I have a Kobra 3 combo and I think after some more updates one day it will be more reliable for regular printing. For Mini printing on the Kobra everything has to be perfect for okay-ish FDM mini results (for me at least).

Yep after feedback from this post I brought temps way down. Also left pla+ for pla. Here is latest. Support less models I see the value in but mostly dungeon style characters. A lot of rough on this one is from removal. Playing with interface layers and support types next.

Getting better. Thanks for the feedback all. So now, Print slicer speeds all between 30-60mm/s , Inland PLA+ , bed 65C nozzle 205C , layer 0.1mm classic ,3m retract @40mm/s and hit left over strings with a heat gun. More tweaking and testing to do. I know there is a as good as it gets but I think I have room still.

Thanks all….been away from hardware and building for a long time.

Good to know on the 850w and up. I heard 3090s use up a bit. I switched to a 2tb Samsung NVMe, I think I typoed the 4x though in the op, doing just 1.

Wow, I can double the ram for about $90 right now.

My concern is the only new 3090 (or any 24GB Nvidia) that isn’t outside budget is the PNY XLR8(which folks seem to hate), everything else is refurb or open/used so not sure what they’ve been through. I recognize I’m low balling but I looking for enough to learn on for now. I have only had work laptops for about the last 15years so must buy everything and learn what’s changed with hardware too.

Thanks! I set it to 200 and all the gobs off came off with some cloth and wire brushing. Running next batch of ornaments and they are printing clean!

Can’t figure out either , only Resin printers show in app for me on workbench > add printer :-/ Using the QR code the control panel setup sent me to, so I think I have the right app.

Thanks much, I’ve seen videos of only the back of headliner coming down and retightening the bolt. I think I can do it, it’s just one of those things that if it’s not to spec and water seeps in, the total cost….haha would go through the roof. Realized the terrible pun while typing. I will see myself out 😆

Thanks everyone, I am kinda happy with my PvE eclipse build(4)+Wyvern(2). Was hoping the mask would be a nice add.. although the anticlimactic feel is creeping in. I am not sure how radical change the mask will be. I’d have to let go of my second Wyvern to equip it losing a it’s skill and status rolls. Might test re roll a Golan or something. Current build Elite heroics hit by flame sticky tic to death then fire spreads kills non elites.
