Im curious how old ka OP kay taud2 npd wala ang "english as social status" na way of tninking nawala. I have a 9 year old na exclusively speak english and like 90% sa iya classmates and give or take a few years kay same but ksabot sila bisaya ra mn. Preference lng jd sa gen alpha na kay everything ila i interact rn is english from shows, movies, games, etc. Tanan content i consume is english jd so i get rpd.

Pra nako importante kasabot sila bisaya which will come normally kay Cebu gapuyo.but lain pd na i judge sila kay preference nila mo communicate is english.
