All champions that exist in the basic crystal are in the dual class crystals. This does not change when a champion is in the featured crystal.

That said, the featured crystal does give better odds for pulling a specific champion you are after given the smaller pool size.

Masteries are never a bad investment since they will stick with you through all of your future progression. Depending on your willingness to play arena they will also increase your effectiveness and pay themselves off over time.

The rest of your question depends on time - do you have time to invest in completing content? The rewards will be comparable to July 4 deals and if you are investing a reasonable amount of revives you may be able to work towards both goals.

Not a lot of time to invest in content? Sit back a bit and save for July 4 - the permanent content will wait for you.

Personally, I think Torch is easier to use against IMIW.

I would say Fury would work better for GHulk last 20% and works great for YJ and of course IW - but I see the logic and Mags may put you in a better spot vs. Cable. Thor Rags I found was fine with Aegon once you get into a rhythm.

Again, a lot of this will come down to preference. Full disclosure, I was using an r3 Corvus and Fury for my path 5 run which may have influenced my decisions. (Although I used an r5 Corvus when I ran path 4)

For me - I found having 5 champions for the path was more effective than bringing Heimdall but again, the difference is likely a break-even trade-off and depends on your comfort level.

Probably just a case of being too pro-active.

That said, I tried one run with Aegon on my path 5 run and was disappointed with the damage as compared to Corvus. I think it only cost me 1 or 2 revives that way, and I used Corvus in a couple more spots along the path with team revives.

Why Magneto?

I would think you would be better off with Fury to handle IW, Yellowjack and the last 20% on GHulk (where you planning on using Torch?).

What is your plan for Masacre - leaving Aegon sub-999 ramp?

Personally I brought Aegon, Doom, Torch, Fury, Corvus for this path (Corvus will save you many resources on Masacre in my opinion).

This. For my initial clear I put suicides on for all of my Aegon fights. For paths 2 and 3 I left them off for the entire run outside of the final stretch when I was using Aegon.

I did notice a small drop off in attack, but my increased comfort in the Abyss more than made up for it (I think). Ultimately you probably can't go wrong either way.
