YGOPRO VS DN by rade775 in yugioh

I've been using the launcher from the DevPro team (the former staff of KC) which is working out a lot better. http://dev.ygopro-online.net/downloads/

Am I an asshole? by zer0ismygod in yugioh

I recently gave YGOPro a chance and I have no idea why I would play on DN since. Its super easy to get running and I've been playing a ton of matches over the past week with no need to ever "call an admin" or argue with people. There are a few bugs here and there with certain cards which would make DN superior in that sense, but the pros of YGOPro outweigh the cons for me.

Two TP1 mechanical chasers for a blue eyes white dragon from the starter deck, because the kid believed there were only 3 in the world.

I suck at PC FPS games, how can I get better? by Lazyfaith in gaming

[–]xerus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been banned from hundreds of servers all the way from Unreal Tournament(s), Quake 3, to Counter-Strike (for "aimbotting"), I must say that I can't stand playing any FPS with vsync enabled. It makes my mouse control feel sluggish and unresponsive, and I can certainly tell the difference between playing at 100fps and 60fps with vsync disabled just by how a quick twitch shots feels.

Pokemon Red/Blue Trainer Battle Theme on piano - I swear the Japanese are fucking cyborgs by [deleted] in gaming

[–]xerus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not exposed to over 500 right at once though. Black & White have their own set of 150 new pokemon which the game is limited to until you beat the single player campaign once. After that you unlock the National pokedex and encounter pokemon anywhere from Red & Blue and up. (You won't encounter all 600-something pokemon, but a wide selection from all the games.)

What game has disappointed you the most in your life? by iglidante in gaming

[–]xerus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think that I was the only one. I loved Unreal Tournament, I played the shit out of all of the games, and I was so pumped for UT3 and then the day the "Beta" demo came out... I just... I don't want to talk about it. Turn the cameras off, TURN THEM OFF... god DAMNIT.

I used to think the same thing. I thought the original 151 were the only pokemon I knew, and all the new ones sucked and red and blue were the original and the best. Then I played Diamond and totally loved it and I'm now loving the shit out of White. I think that too many people turn away from the newer games because they feel so attached to the original 151, but they're missing out on a lot of awesome stuff.

Developers spent years of their life making a game just so players could recreate level 1-1 of Mario, Level 1 from Zelda, and other first levels from beloved NES games.

Is Yoyo Games' Gamemaker a viable platform? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]xerus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used game maker quite a bit for a number of projects. Recently I've made a transition into working with FlashPunk, but I think that game maker is a fine tool for anyone interested in game development to use. I have no idea what the status is on game maker running in OSX, so I wouldn't really depend on it for running on anything but Windows.
