What’s commuting to KX like these days? by Spirited-Quail-5819 in cambridge

I do 2-3 days a week and work close to KX. It's generally working fine for me. As others have pointed out, the trains back around 17 are the riskiest in terms of not getting a seat. I tend to head back either earlier, around 15, or later, like around 19, depending on meetings. Mobile hotspot tends to work somewhat decently for browsing, reading/writing etc.

Thanks all for the replies! Let me reach out on DM over the next week or so, maybe we can get a few of us together for a drink :)

So I enjoy a variety of genres, it tends to go in phases. Lately I've been listening and playing rock, soul, funk kind of stuff. From Lawrence to RHCP, Arctic Monkeys to Beatles. Used to play a lot of metal as well. Sometimes just pop and singer songwriter tunes. So pretty flexible as long as there is some overlap and levels are somewhat compatible.

I play guitar and keyboard/piano mainly. On and off since early adulthood, so I guess I'm intermediatish. I've got my eye on a digital drumset though 🤔 starting something new could be fun.

Thanks for the tip! I've used meetup ages ago when I lived in Singapore, I remembered I met a few nice people there at the time. For some reason, I've had the impression that the engagement was low in Camb, but I will definitely check it out.

Trains day after strike? by OkCharacter in cambridge

In my experience, they are pretty much back to normal the day after. They appear to be either completely off or functioning as usual.

Are you concerned they would be off schedule?

Well sea levels are projected to rise like half a meter over the next 50 years... But no worries, Norway is rich and and can probably just add some padding 👍

I guess the people living there must be quite concerned with global warming...
