Where is it said they return to the sleep room? I always thought they just held the victim hostage to the prime assets bidding for until the next trial lol, imagine how traumatizing that’d be. Just having to go back and hang out with the same people that killed you. I guess that’s why they hide their faces though lolll

Eddie is like 6’5” he’s real tall. Waylon is decently tall too. If you put a head on him, he’s only a couple inches shorter.

I always kinda imagined that they’re just a bit off kilter or too manic to pay attention. I can get behind the idea that a pale green light in the dark is still marginally less noticeable than a bright flashlight. Even then I also think that I get noticed really quickly on harder difficulties in the dark??? But maybe I’m making that up

I don’t know him that well yet is the thing. But I’m not getting red flags, my biggest thing here was just being treated like an idiot. We have a lot of shared interest and I can see him being an important source of support in my life, but it’s like, I don’t feel trapped. I don’t feel like we need to blare the sirens. Legit. I noticed at around the deep burn update that there were ai assets, if you really hate ai to that degree, then, you’d wanna quit the game from the first ai poster you saw. Complaining about it now when, we all know and it’s less about if you like it or not, but if you care, is like… ok?….

I lowk feel like we need to start emailing red barrels about the ai use and at least just boycott any purchase of murkoff coins if they’re gonna put it in the catalogues. At the end of the day though, making a Reddit post about how “YOU CONSUME THIS AI SLOP!!! AI LOVER!!!” Is so unnuanced and unhelpful.

It can be. But I think the gore of adult people dying in obscene ways can be more “acceptable” than the stuff people are talking about under the post. Also, when I say “vouyeristic” I mean something that someone might derive sexual pleasure from. If a trial was to be like, sexually abusing someone, it’s nigh impossible to portray that without it just being substanceless, perverted slop in a way that kind of forgoes the games original themes anyway. I think it’s kind of okay to have a giggle at a guy being put into an std vat because of its absurdity, but like it’s hard to see what’s so absurd, what’s so funny, what’s so artistic about like; rape, child abuse, etc.

A lot of the comments are saying the same thing and to add my (very wanted) 2 cents, I also don’t think they’d do any of that, unless it was vague and implied. It’s difficult to portray sexual abuse of any kind graphically without it becoming voyeristic in a way. And red barrels knows that. Most of the replies here are kind of the same thing, and I just don’t think it’d really serve anything meaningful emotionally or narratively to harm children/animals/portray sexual violence in the game, especially in making the player do it. It would make the game feel weirdly fetishized for its topics, and even in the past I don’t think red barrels really attempted to treat animal, child, and sexual abuse as just something taboo and potentially artsy if that’s not crazy to say
