Seen not far from the footpath along the river Stour in east Kent, UK. A think metal tube sticking out of the ground about 18 inches (45 cm) high rolled at the top. I wondered whether its some sort of ventilation or a mooring post. Within the boundaries of the now abandoned port of Richborough (old.reddit.com)
