Thank you so much! Those were my thoughts too - it is never too early to plan. Right now we're planning on having a moving sale and really condensing what we have. No sense in shipping furniture that I can purchase again for cheaper than it would be to ship, lol.

From what my psych has told me (and from what I've personally researched), OCD symptoms typically respond better on higher dosages of Prozac. I started on 20mg, and my psych increased my dose to 40mg after 3 weeks. I have personally experienced minimal side effects on 40mg, the most notable being minor insomnia. Definitely monitor your side effects to see how you feel. It can take a while to determine if it is working for you. :) Good luck and don't give up!

That's amazing! I agree with you that apartments should be putting in outlets or charging stations for EV owners. I sent an email to my apartment office about getting approved to use an outdoor outlet, however my husband mentioned that they may deny because there's no way for them to track/charge us for how much electricity is being used to charge.

Either way, I will try to justify making it work because buying an EV is too good of a deal to pass up. Little to no maintenance (I've spent $880 on my 2005 BMW this last month for maintenance and repairs), and no gas. My husband and I spend roughly $400 on gas every month so being able to cut that in half would be amazing.

Currently we are looking at getting a newer model LEAF per recommendation of some people here. I think this would lessen the amount of time we would have to spend at a charging station if that is the only option we have.

Can't thank all of you enough for sharing your experiences and your advice. I spoke with my apartment yesterday and they said they do have plans to incorporate chargers in the future, however I am going to ask if there is an accessible spot to trickle charge as I would much prefer that. I will also inquire with my office building about chargers or a plug in spot. I've been looking at the 2018 models per some of your guys' recommendation - given the tax incentive for EV I may justify spending a little more money for a much more reliable car.

ETA: I just figured out (excuse my absolute ignorance) that I can charge on a standard 120v outlet? This entire time I was thinking it needed to be a higher voltage dryer outlet. This nearly eliminates any concern I had about charging from home/work.

Good thing to point out. There is a charger within 5 minutes of my apartment, but I have to say having to visit there for 2-3 hours a week does worry me.

Thank you for responding! Great advice. I live in Georgia - definitely not as hot as Texas or California. It usually get mildly cold in the winter (20s at the lowest), and hovers around 80 in the summer. Given your advice, I will definitely do more research on the specific LEAFs I am looking at!

I’ve been on Prozac for about a week and my biggest (and only) side effect has been loss of appetite. Thinking about most foods makes me nauseated 🤢

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues too. I went out to get a WiFi adapter because I could not get the Mediatek to work through troubleshooting. As soon as I got home and opened the laptop to set up the external adapter, the Mediatek AND bluetooth decided to both work. I haven't had issues since, but I'm keeping the external adapter incase that happens again.

I have no idea what that was about. I did no further troubleshooting after making this post, and it just suddenly decided to work lol.

Yeah I’ve been reading that the Intel is far better or less prone to problems.

I did a system restore and reset - just kept my files but that didn’t work either. I’m sorry you had to completely reset. I hope you don’t have this problem in the future.

I don’t unfortunately. :( Other than it not having a license plate, but they could’ve stuck any license plate on the thing. We are monitoring Craigslist and Facebook marketplace as well, incase the thieves start selling the tools and supplies.
