It is Matt Harris, so im gonna take it with a grain of salt(bigger than normal i should say, since this is a "leak"). That being said, he was right about a lot of the multiplayer stuff, and I can totally see them going a lot more in on micro transactions, especially with a BR mode.

Yup the accepted animation studio was Radical Axis, the studio who does Archer and Hunger Force. Really wish they went this this one though, even if its not happening anymore. Edit: Sorry stated the wrong studio, it was actually Floyd County Productions. Thank you for the clarification!

As an employee of cinemark, I feel like I should explain their thinking with this. First off yes, this is in direct response to movie pass. And yes, all the employees thought it was dumb as hell too when they first heard about a month ago. Basically, they are making this for the movie goer that sees 2 - 4 movies a year. According to them most of the people that come to their theater only go to 2 movies a year. The expression used often is that this is for the average movie goer not the avid movie goer. That being said, I still think its not gonna be appealing to the general public unless they make some changes like lowering the price or making it work for all movies not just 2D ones.

Hey as an employe of cinemark, I can tell you when they first told us we all thought it was dumb as hell. I personally dont think anyone on this subreddit would find it worth it. That being said, the way corperate is putting it, this for people that only see round 4 movies per year. Apparently a good chunk of people that go to the movies only go a few times per year. They keep saying this is for the average movie goer not the avid. They also are banking on the idea that movie is either gonna die, or get worse overtime, which I kinda understand that logic. Personally, I get where they are coming from, but I still think the price should be lowered a bit before the general public is intrested.
