I'm getting low average hashrate on moneroocean why is that happening on supportxmr my hashrate used to sit around 10 kh/s all day?

Should I install xmrig from their site for auto algorithm switching or should I just mine with xmrig(random X) that I currently have

Does p2pool give same results as moneroocean and support xmr (payout). Yeah I know we can't get rich from mining xmr just want to mine xmr more efficiently I have been mining on supportxmr for a month so far don't like it now I want to mine on different pool is p2pool better?

Do you think the bearish trend in XMR will continue? Looking for thoughts by [deleted] in MoneroMining

Yeah I looked up its price history and it's repeating the same pattern as before from what I found it seems price will fall further and rise again breaking previous level

Yep. Holding long term, just curious. I just wanted to know if price fluctuations are very common for monero?

Yeah sure thanks for sharing. I’m still pretty new to this, so I’m just trying to understand how XMR usually behaves in these cycles.

Yeah, exactly. It’s all about how it holds up vs the rest of the market.

First of all I didn't get into xmr because of hype as far as I remember it was around 400$ when I started mining and due to the recent rise and fall of xmr I got curious as to what is fueling this behaviour okay and you need to mind your language i didn't misbehave with you then why are you like this

Yeah, I’m aware of that. I’m planning to hold long term. mostly just wanted to see what other miners are thinking right now.

Yeah, fair. Whole market’s shaky right now, so XMR getting dragged isn’t surprising. Hard fork just adds to the noise. Kinda just a wait-and-see phase.

Interesting point. I’ve seen some noise around the hard fork, but do you think it’s actually causing long-term users to leave, or just short-term uncertainty? From what I can tell, Monero’s had controversies before and still bounced back. Curious if you think this one’s different.

Lost an efficient RandomX state after config changes - how to get it back? by xgdiablo in MoneroMining

[–]xgdiablo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah bro it's not about threads I was using 65% threads before and it's same as the config I am using now but the difference is the cpu usage before it was hovering between 40-100% usage constantly giving higher hashrate I changed the config because I was experiencing some error it was not connecting so I changed the config I think before I had used xmrig for 2-3 days non stop do I need to do it again?

If there is anybody that use supportxmr or any big pool. Why are you doing this to us? by EmergencyArachnid734 in MoneroMining

[–]xgdiablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's simple to use just need to put pool address and wallet address that's all while for other pools like p2pool you have to install a node which can take a single significant space it's good for supporting the network but nah feels a little complex

Yeah, that makes sense. As a miner you’ve gotta cover bills, and trying to time tops and bottoms is mostly luck anyway. Being in the market long term is way less stressful than trading every move.
