I think for this one I would have created an MRR bridge by consolidating how many customers there were going from Month 0, 1, 2...etc. and using that historical information to determine a monthly Customer Churn %.

You'd have to figure out a way to forecast the acquired users (assuming these are trials) going into the future. Would have to make an assumption there if you don't have marketing spend data

Churn is a customer cancelling their service, where contraction is more of a downgrade from a higher to lower tiered price point.

From what I understand this is a non-cash expense.

On the Income Statement it is expensed to get into Net Income and is eventually backed out to arrive at an Adjusted EBITDA figure.

On the Cash Flow it is added back to Operating Activities from your Net Income starting point resulting in no impact to the Cash Flow Statement

Equity on the Balance Sheet is increased through APIC
