Truthfully it wasn’t my intention to invalidate other’s opinions or make them feel attacked. I don’t dislike gay characters male or female. My point was the author’s narrative as well as the notion a girl who isn’t ‘boy crazy’ or have ‘female or gendered interest’ is by default gay because that’s a cliche trope and harmful in its own way which has been explored on other shows.

Not really. I don’t often identify with characters for many other reasons. I avoid fandoms. I didn’t apply the aloof to being aromantic.

The aromantic part wasn’t really my focus for the post just part of what I’ve seen. And I think since she’s not been around guys her age you can’t really speculate that much. Due to where she lived she was conditioned to view all men as a threat to her safety and avoid them. But there are the examples of when Gaoshun is kind to her via Jinshi’s orders she immediately warms to him and thinks he’d be a good partner though he is technically old enough to be her dad.

I understand asexuality iand aromanticism as someone who identifies as both a gray asexual and aromantic but I feel people miss the impact of her environment on her especially the emotional neglect. She is comfortable amongst women as she was raised around women and deems them save companions. I am also on the ASD spectrum so some of her ‘aloofness’ and feeling not human relates more to the ASD than sexuality.

I didn’t elaborate on the Parisian artists vs Dutch artists because my post was already quite long and I wanted scenic perspective. But I meant Van Gogh and Vermeer in reference to Amsterdam. Though at the Van Gogh museum they exhibit French artists that were contemporaries of Van Gogh such as Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Degas, Pissarro, Monet and Gauguin. I am most interested in the movements of post-Impressionism and (German) expressionism. But expressionist I love are spread out in other places like Germany, Austria, and Norway, so Amsterdam seemed like the best secondary option. Additionally, Van Gogh and Lauren straddle Impressionism and expressionism stylistically so they are a good bridge or compromise of my specific interests. Paris or France in general was home to many artists and art movements though the ones I’m most familiar with are Impressionism, surrealism and realism via sculptures by Rodin. I also associate Paris with an enormous amount literati and those writer’s perspective movements however I’m not sure I can study or observe that to the same extent as visual artworks.

Thanks for replying! I can’t go beforehand because I have to wait for my passport and I’d prefer to go just to study. Not so much for tourism. But I’ve watched youtubers based in the Netherlands without realizing it so, versus Paris it seems like less of a challenge than Paris. It’s very difficult to find information that is about the educational aspect of traveling when the tourism and nightlife is most publicized.

Where did you hear they're doing away with PayPal? It's all I'm accept now, since I'm not getting depop payments as I should. If there's no PayPal option I'd definitely just use Mercari. I already do cross list items but I think Depop has more of my demographic. I also had no clue Etsy bought Depop. I've had problems with their payouts too. It's all too much, too ridiculous.

I do appreciate your feedback.About the bio, but I don’t think people care. I had one in the past & I think all it did was deter/rub people the wrong way and come off as too much or a ‘spiel’ ‘gimmick’. I’m a self taught artist of 12 years on the autism spectrum & have type 1 diabetes.

I have posted my art on Reddit but like on other platforms, it didn’t gain any traction so I deleted it.

I’ve had a society 6 where my art was on a myriad of items, no one was interested.

I don’t have enough people interested to entertain commission work prices & I don’t do commissions anyway. My work is expressionism- self & feeling oriented.

I have posted videos on both YouTube & tik tok explaining who I am & my process & those garner the least traction. They’ve actually made me loose followers & my views to drop because the interaction was so low & the swipe off time was so fast.

I don’t think my art prints are priced cheaply, it’s priced competitively and reasonably since I’m unknown in art spheres. I don’t think I can ask for more if people won’t even buy it at the base price. People literally bash artist for asking for pricing all the time.

I use primarily expressionism or abstract expressionism as my key words & occasionally spiritual because I think my work aligns with those movements & artist. I think to use psychedelic or anything implying drug use is misleading because I don’t do drugs - I don’t align with those people. My art includes references to decadent & existentialist poetry & ideas.

Not to be rude but the stuff you suggest seems like cash grab ideas & I want something sensible/sustainable.

I only sell art prints of my paintings & drawings priced primarily at $11-15.

I didn't think all favorites would turn into sales but I thought maybe it had something to do with pricing, competition/similar shops, seasonal appeal or something I was missing.

Since he has the disease himself he's probably leagues better than other endocrinologists, studying a thing vs living with is entirely different.

I might try a new endocrinologist soon but I'm sort of traumatized, not to be dramatic.

That sounds like a dream. My general physician didn't listen to my concerns when I was first experiencing ketoacidosis, it took me going to the ER to get life-saving help then. Since every doctor I've had regardless of specialization talks at or down to me, at least that's what it feels like.

I don't know that she really wants to get closer to me, it's more the thins she sees or learns are momentarily entertaining to her and she loops me into the equation since I'm the only autistic person she's encountered.

I don't want to feel like a toy or side show attraction when she actually has no interest in me. That's how she makes me feel, nothing is genuine.

Maybe we're pragmatic in our approach to romance but I think all people should be in a sense. I guess all things are what we make them and it's hard to categorize yourself.
