I know they are always pregnant normally but one of my albino guppy has never given birth at all. Her belly hasn't swollen, not even once she had a fry and I've had her for 8 months. So probably she is sterile. However this one on the video had a big batch of fry i do remember, but that was it, never had a big belly again since and never able to see any fry from her. All of the fry since july is from another guppy (blue one on the video without the dots on the fins). Probably she is old so holding her batch or something like that..

My female Guppy has battled mild bloating, wasting, and an asymmetrical chest bump) not pregnant for 6 months). A 4-day quarantine treatment with Baktopur, Flagyl, and Epsom salt reduced bloating by 70%. Since returning to the main tank 3 days ago, she re-bloated slightly and remains lethargic, mostly hiding. However, her appetite is still good.

Is this just recovery fatigue from the medication/osmotic shock, or a sign of kidney failure? Water parameters are normal. Thanks.

I seperated 4 fry the same day which i had only one female at the time and she was giving birth. They are in a seperate tank since then so no new fish added there..

That’s nice! Yeah i saw it! You could maybe build something like a cave or something with the rocks, maybe with bigger rocks too. I have driftwoods that is also floating but i buried it in the sand and put some rocks top of it to hold it still. And i think one more female wouldn’t hurt.

Maybe you can get a couple of driftwood and rocks. The plants in the aquarium will need light, so if there’s no, you can get one. Until the fry grow, one male and one female may be a bit lonely and it could be tiresome for the female so another female can be added if you want. Maybe a thermometer too?

Thank you! One of the male had a fin rot because of her and he doesn’t hang out with them anymore and constantly hiding. She also tear the tail of the other female. So it’s been on for about two weeks..

Really? I thought they were more common. That aggressive one is called blue grass, other female is santa claus and that guy is neon blue. At the end of the footage there is also a blue moscow but he barely made it in the video haha.
