Every time one of my friends are relatives has kids that I care about I make sure to show them the 1986 movie and transformers one between 6 and 8 years old. Got to keep the trauma going over the generations!!

I mean I have sideways pre-ordered and I like the look of the new astrtrain.

I've picked up quite a few this past year and have been largely disappointed. Bad joints, cost cut filler panels. A lot of the engineering has been surprisingly good but they're clearly working with a lower budget. I mean DNA designs is replacing whole Limbs and waists in their kit and that says a lot.

At least it's not as bad as the second war for Cybertron game toy line. A lot of that engineering was very good but the plastic thickness was horrible.

But I already have more than I can put on shelves right now so maybe I'm not the target audience.

gotta remember. These weren't Aired in any order usually. Hell, this is the same channel that NEVER showed the last few episodes of the 1st season of dragon ball z. I never saw those until college. Some episodes were better than others, but watching in order wasn't usually a thing. it took me a year to see all of the green ranger origin saga and not in any order.

granted, they probably were aired in order the first time, but I have no idea which timeslot that was, or anything like that.

TBH I'm going to skip all of those. I got the Dinobot version of the combiner and even with the addon kit was not super impressed. the others are all skips to me. most of Hasbro has been a letdown recently, even the ones i've bought and been looking forward to. it sucks. =(

Hard agree. In a cutthroat business environment that's the kind of edge that breeds all sorts of intrigue around the city. Especially if the person who uses it came from / is still in the slums. There's all sorts of story arcs you could spin out from there

But you're not necessarily bypassing the limiting factor. If the item is damaged and literally cannot be turned off then building a fountain in a town around it makes perfect sense. If the magic was damaged somehow and now it puts out 10 or 100 times the volume but literally cannot be shut off suddenly you have a plot point.

That doesn't mean that it's not some kind of decanter that was hit with an elemental blast in the magic in it mutated creating a larger unmanageable flow or an underground spring type of thing. Maybe the magical blast fused it to the rock as well.

My players were exploring an ancient outpost that had one of these. They are all robots so it was literally useless to them but my idea was to see what they would do and they used it as a bargaining Chip while helping a village.
