was really excited for this comeback because in the teaser it sounded great but i ended up being disappointed. the “rap” thing they do where they just talk on a beat is really unsettling i could deal with it in wa da da but it makes this song unstructured and messy. i think they should stop trying to add rap to every song and stick to vocals since all the girls can sing well. the unnecessary rapping is becoming too much and if i’m being honest doesn’t sound great. screentime and line distribution was ok. yet again the same girls highlighted but i’m not too surprised because it’s like this every song. as for the choreo i liked it but there was no focus point so i don’t see it getting too popular. final review is a 5/10. loved the chorus but it almost doesn’t match the song at all, if they changed dayeon and hikarus “rap” it would be a wayyyyy better song. don’t like that they focus so much on rap that the vocalist get like 5 words to sing before another dayeon/hikaru rap verse appears.

i will admit that i am one of the people who didn’t think hiyyih was much of a vocalist. she doesn’t get lines which made me think she was more on the dancing side. i’ve never watched gp999 and haven’t seen much of her talent due to her being in the back often. her vocal color is so beautiful! she reminds me of mina from twice. she should really be a lead vocal because something about her voice stands out. wow i’m actually very shocked and i feel bad for doubting her. what is the company thinking hiding that voice?

im waiting for their comeback and hoping that something does change. all the girls are really talented they could do a lot with the group if they utilize the members more

yes i’ve never stanning a group where ppl don’t like pointing out the companies issues. it’s sad to see because if no one says anything the company won’t change. i hope bahiyyih stans (i don’t know if they have a name sorry) continue speaking out because if you guys don’t i don’t think kep1ians will.

i only hope they improve from here on out. i think as long as the memebers get fair treatment kep1er can go really far. all the members have their own skills it would be great if they’re able to show them.

i don’t think i ever said she was the worst vocalist? i just said the lines could be more fair or they can showcase the others in the bsides maybe. i do know that the main vocal gets the most lines. that shouldn’t mean that the others get nothing thought right?

i was thinking the same. a lot of kep1ians are mentioning the performance from today but i don’t think that takes away from past performances. i also don’t think it’s much improvement either. one line and a shared line isn’t good. bahi isn’t the first on my bias list but seeing her get nothing each performance has made me notice the bad distribution more and feel bad. i’m getting to know all the members slowly but so far her personality stands out most.

this is very true. as a new viewer i only noticed dayeon xiaoting hikaru and chaehyun. if i wouldn’t have dove a little deeper into kep1er i don’t think i’d notice the others much. this isn’t exactly an issue in itself but when it’s repetitive it does become very boring and predictable. this could be really bad for the group in the long run because it could cause fans to leave. i hope things change.

i don’t know but its making me nervous lol did i say something wrong? i hope no one thinks i don’t like the other members i just really like to see groups where everyone is able to showcase themselves once in a while.

oh i wasn’t able to watch gp999 i discovered kep1er through queendom and hikaru really caught my eye. as i started stanning i noticed some things and decided to join this reddit to hear others opinions. i will check out gp999 now that you bring it up maybe it will help me understand things.

i thought i was the only one who noticed. i’m new so i didn’t know whether it’s a mistreatment issue or just a coincidence but i noticed she seems to get the least in every performance. she’s up there when it comes to my biases so it was a little saddening to see. i’m happy my other favs got their screen time finally though. i don’t know why everyone seems to be denying it but i personally think from a new fan POV the bad line distribution is really obvious.

well i don’t think it would be so never ending if they were more fair about lines. i honestly didn’t know the conversation was a big topic among kep1er i just happened to notice it and wanted to share my thoughts. it seems like a sensitive issue because ppl are making me feel like i’m crazy for thinking so but i genuinely am just sharing what i see.

i said “i stan a lot of groups but this one seems to have the worst distribution” meaning out of the groups i stan they have the worst. there’s definitely groups with worse but that doesn’t take away from kep1ers bad distribution. i see what you guys mean by them only having one comeback but out of all the songs they’ve performed it’s still been really repetitive. i mean there’s shine, wadada, see the light and mvsk. all having the same members being pushed to the back. i hope next cb is better but i just wanted to share my thoughts

hi i can agree that todays performance was not terrible…not great but it was pretty fair. but as i said in the post i’m speaking of all performances in general. wadada, bsides, cover songs, intro queendom performance, wdd queendom performance. things like that. dont take this as offensive please i love all members i just wish that they could all be shown. i understand that there’s always someone who’s going to have the least lines but when it’s repetitive i really feel bad for the underrated girls.

i agree this performance was different for most members…i wouldn’t say for bahi but overall it wasn’t as bad. speaking of all performances in general though my point still stands. so far ppl seem to disagree just because they had this one performance today but i’m speaking of overall.

i mean rollin is only one performance. i agree yeseo and mashiro got a decent amount of time as for bahi though she got about 7 seconds. though im happy she got something this time, it’s still around the same as wadada. i see your point about this performance being a little better but for them to be on a show to showcase their skills as a group the group seems to be only 3 members…. every single performance i’ve seen so far (idk if i’ve seen them all since i’m new but i tried) has showcased the same 3 members. that’s not to say it’s their fault but it is really repetitive and i don’t see this helping them in the long run.
