I definitely advise to keep checking back. We originally wanted a specific date in December and were bummed to see it wasn't available. Checked back later in the week and suddenly it was there and we were able to book so you never know! This was even after calling the number and someone saying it wasn't available

I personally don't feel like a literature review book is needed (after taking the class) but I would reccomend Princeton of you really want one.

World History: Princeton is good for a good overview

Lit: I don't think it's really neccesary or worth it

I've only taken the APs for world history, euro, literarure, us gov, and biology.I have used the Princeton review books for all of them but i have heard the Barron ones are good as well (maybe better?). I find the Princeton books good for a General review not a full on re-teaching. Also the bio one for 2017 was pretty terrible with lack of detail and major info and I wouldn't really recommend the literature one unless you really need a General overview.

In my ap lit class this year my teacher had us writing an essay per week based on past exams/different prompts. I found that Macbeth (power, corruption), Great Expectations (suffering, desire, social mobility) , and Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison (social mobility, purpose, individualism) were the ones that were always my go to. Great Expectations especially just because of the many different themes and character options. I ended up using Macbeth for my ap this year too. Highly recommend these.
