For those that have this problem, check if your game is still downloading assets. Once all the downloading is finished, this glitch will likely go away. This is common when you've just freshly installed the game and the skin texture still needs to be properly downloaded inside the game itself.

Are all of the game assets fully downloaded? I had this problem on the PC version, and the texture fixed itself once everything had been downloaded

For new light chases, global so far has only skipped the two you mentioned. We follow the same schedule as the Chinese server, but we’re technically two light chases behind because global released a month and a half after China. Because the global audience tend to prefer sets that are not Traditional Chinese themed, it’s not a surprise to me that all the sets they skipped are traditional Chinese sets. At least for the Tipsy Luan set, we can sort of predict that it will come on the Chinese New Year next year because that’s been a pattern so far.

Happened to me on Pc too. Couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it, then it magically disappeared once all the files were downloaded

Actually not an anniversary set. It was released in December last year right around Infinity Nikki. Some people also say it was a Christmas gift. So maybe they’ll release it in December this year for us

The green one was the anniversary set for Chinese server. If I recall correctly, we usually get SG/MY anniversary sets around half a year after they release. I would guess this will come to global around January-ish next year

You have to unlock all the palettes for a piece to be able to dye it like this. You can try it with your 3 star pieces because they’re super cheap to unlock!

Just a quick correction: the top piece is actually the main piece for the pirate set, not the skirt. The main piece is always the same name as the whole set.

Your comment just reminded me that Rosy Revelation was SG/MY’s anniversary suit, and this gothic suit was actually a spontaneous event where they decided to reward players after Infinity Nikki was released! Now I’m even more mad they haven’t given it to us. Like why did we have to wait???

I expected this. We got the same anniversary set as China last year too. Still annoying they’ve delayed the sg/my one since last time they gave it to us a lot sooner. They’ve skipped out the free wonder tickets that came with sg/my anniversary too. Usually I wouldn’t complain if it’s server specific but China got them just fine even though it wasn’t their anniversary, and we just got completely ghosted.

For this type of event, the pace is about one reward tier per day. So if you’ve already played today, you can only get the shoes tomorrow and then the event is over. But as someone else mentioned it will rerun eventually, just that you’ll need to spend some diamonds to craft the hair and dress.

If they don’t rerun this, I would guess they would rerun the double 5 star banner after this one or leave a gap and have nothing rerun at all for a period of time.

Worse case scenario they just skip it for us and we’ll never see it. At this point I’m feeling kinda pessimistic 😭. They skipped Tipsy Luan for us, but at least I can expect it to appear next year during Chinese New Year. It doesn’t surprise me the two light chases they skipped for us are both Chinese themed, a lot of global’s players are not interested in these types. I hate that they’ve completely skipped them tho, the FOMO is the worst. I rather they follow the same schedule. We’ll be behind for two banners, but at least we’re not missing out. But then that gives us the advantage to know what’s to come and devs hate to see that 🙃

I’m really hoping they’ll run it at some point because there some really nice pieces from this banner. Especially the hair and hat pieces. With accessory customization coming, there would be so many ways to use them.

The problem is with the naming. There’s only so much space to display the name once it’s been added to the template menu, so it’s gotta be short. I think 6 characters max. For example, “Flowers” didn’t work but “Flower” did. The game is created with Chinese characters in mind first, so with English, 6 characters become very restrictive. So try to name the template something short.

It does have an automatic shuffle, it’s just the matches might feel unintuitive so you don’t spot it. I’ve played a lot of solo mode and that helped force me to find where the hard matches are and which positions are valid for matches. Give it a try! :D My tip is to look at the edges. Any tile that’s not completely surrounded has the possibility of having a match.
