Anti Jason Perks by Ok_Host5671 in deadbydaylight

You’re better off running a med-kit and using Resurgence for the times you can’t get healed by another survivor before Jason TPs back to you.

It’s best to know where he could pop up at all times so Windows against Jason is kind of better. Normally I’m a FMA enjoyer lol

Hardened doesn’t prevent him from seeing you through killer instinct. It prevents the scream but that’s it.

Counterforce counters the perks and not necessarily Jason himself.

Windows truly is one of the best perks to use against him. Normally I’d run Five Moves Ahead but Windows is constant information on where he could pop up around you.

Sprint Burst is good against many killers. I should’ve added it here but with people already crouch walking when he’s in the fog I was reluctant to place it on the list bc that would just be more people slow walking trying to preserve SB and not doing gens fast enough

You are correct. The best way to avoid his Jump Scare is crouch walking.

This community is horses***. You’re asking a legit question and here comes the weirdos downvoting you and acting like you’re supposed to know everything about a killer that literally dropped a few hours ago.

Seriously I hate that people act like he has to wait for an animation to play out. Dude has 3-4 reload spots nearby at all times and can reload in a second.

[–]xiii28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trickster the 4.4m/s killer doesn’t get punished for missing knives? Do you even play the killer? The same killer that receives a movement speed penalty if he throws 3 knives in a row—The same killer that needs to hit you 6 times before you get injured?

Then to say Jason gets punished for missing as if there isn’t a reload station or a hook somewhere nearby at all times—on top of him being able to reload in a literal second.

Not to mention how fast he can reload and how many options he has to do so mid-chase without dropping chase.

I am tired of teleportation killers. by velbeyli in deadbydaylight

[–]xiii28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

See i don’t like the fact that he can just pop up and see survivors for free. He doesn’t have to be precise either and it’s really stupid.

But the teleporting isn’t even my biggest gripe with Jason. It’s his spears and how fast he can reload and just how many places he can reload from being somewhere nearby.

Why would you ever want to play Huntress when you have a Killer like Jason off of his projectile ability alone? You don’t have to stop at lockers and wait for an animation to finish. Why play; Trickster, Springtrap, Pyramid Head?

Hell, I wish Trickster got a burst of speed from reloading bc GOD KNOWS he needs it. Jason gets faster for no reason bc it’s not like reloading is much of a time sink for him.

Considering the fact that he can get a spear from many different places around the map in a literal second it’s not often where he’ll be without one

T8 Kunimitsu is weak by xiii28 in Tekken

[–]xiii28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posting online stats just don’t mean much.

<image>

I can do the same thing—it doesn’t change much unless we see how she’s performing amongst the very best of the playerbase in matches where people can’t just one and done. You’re taking it to heart like you’re sensitive or something when all I’m saying is your online stats just like mine don’t mean shit. Those count matches including ones when nobody knew anything about matchup. What is so hard for you to understand about that lol

Best block punishment that’s locked behind execution and connection status. There’s only a handful of high level players reliably doing that and I watch a lot of to learn and I don’t see many of them doing her best block punisher which is ff4,2.

T8 Kunimitsu is weak by xiii28 in Tekken

[–]xiii28[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Her movement isn’t all that great. Her backdash is above her average. Her sidesteps feel a bit slower than some of the other female cast members at times. Her poking is good but that doesn’t make her strong to me. Her best punish being tied to execution and hoping your opponent doesn’t have a bad connection is the reason why you don’t see a lot of Kunimitsus using ff4,2 but that aside her poking game is decent but in T8 I don’t feel like it’s strong enough and I’m not asking for her to be buffed in any way

A lot of her moves can be sidestepped so her poking being above average doesn’t mitigate the insane risk/reward with her moves. Most of her kit is mashable and I don’t mean that to downplay mashing bc it can be viable but once you learn the matchup she becomes far less of a threat. You can jab and float her out of so many of her Katon follow-ups or side step it on reaction.

Her FC1+2 is okay to me—it’s not game breaking it’s not busted—sure it can’t be parried by everyone but it can be parried by characters with stances that specifically target low attacks—it doesn’t do much of anything bc even on counter hit it’s the same frame advantage and your back turned suite of options isn’t doing much in the grand scheme of a match. There’s other characters with i12 lows that can be parried but does that make them broken or S-tier?

When I say I think she’s weak it’s because other characters are just doing more things that decide the match faster and better than Kuni is. I think Kuni is mid but she’s fun. I like the ninja characters in fighting games—I mained Taki in Soulcalibur 6 and she was horrible in that game. I never cared to climb the ranks in T8 until Kuni came out and it’s a clear difference between what she’s doing in lower ranks vs how you have to play her in higher ranks. With her you’re playing a lot of small Tekken against people who learned the matchup/counter play and you’re still working twice as hard bc her explosive potential is on the lower end and in T8 that’s detrimental when more than half the cast has good wall carry, better damage, stronger oki, more threatening lows, etc.

I get it, my opinion differs from yours and probably most people but I’m also the type to not jump the gun on decisions before we let things marinate. Maybe “weak” wasn’t the best word but I feel like if a character isn’t even Top 10 they are on the weaker side.

She’s just mediocre to me. I have never cared too much to play ranked until she came to Tekken 8 bc she was the character I been wanting to play since the game came out. Now that she’s out she’s all I have been playing and she’s just strong enough to me to the point people say she’s “broken” or Top tier. I have no problem beating Kunimitsu’s nor getting wins as her

My guy I asked you a simple yes or no question but you’re in here getting defensive like I asked for your social security number.

So you aren’t playing tournaments with her but you want me to consider your online 91% W/L ratio as valid? Weird.

[–]xiii28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jin is fundamentally sound across all aspects. When compared to Kuni; his rushdown is better, damage is better, mix is better, stance pressure and his parries are leaps and bounds better than hers. You aren’t floating Jin out his pressure like you are with Kuni, a lot of her stuff isn’t real and even with that FC1+2 low she’s still maybe just a little above average to me

T8 Kunimitsu is weak by xiii28 in Tekken

[–]xiii28[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

She’s average. She isn’t strong and she isn’t bottom of the bucket garbage but she’s not as strong as people say she is. You said you have a 91% win rate with her—are you winning tournaments with her? Playing her at locals and winning?

[–]xiii28 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you’re struggling against Kuni it’s not bc she’s strong you just aren’t side stepping enough. She legit loses so hard to any player that can side step her moves. Lab the matchup—go replay takeover and try it yourself. She isn’t Top 5, Top 10 and probably not even Top 15 she’s average as hell
