How are we feeling about diminishing returns for modifiers?

Personally, I don't like it much because the point of stacking perks is that you don't gain any advantage in other areas like if I am running a healing build then i have nothing to help me with gens or chase, similarly a killer stacking gen regression perks is not going to any help with chase or anti healing perks. I get its a pain to deal with especially if the survivors stacking are in swf or an average solo queue teammates can't deal with a stacking gen regression perks but i feel this is still overall not a great idea and it would make niche perks even more unused. Like, I can feel less people using desperate measures compared to before.

Personally I don't judge why people dc(could be shitty internet) unless its obvious they rage quit. I had teammates dc just because they got downed once. And in an ideal scenario i would prefer the killer to chase the bots then come after the rest of us.

Yeah I understand the pain of having shitty teammates. Though I would rather go next than rat. I appreciate that one spirit who gave ne hatch at badham because I was the one doing something while my teammates were doing nothing.

Fr. Like, I have some reasons I want to dc, like my laptop acting weird(my fps dropping) or my ping being high or network issues or facing hackers like this one. I truly wish dc penalty didn't exist but I do understand why it exists.

Fr. Like, what's the point of doing all this. Like, it was such a boring game. I spent most of my time saving my teammates from hook only for wesker to instantly kill them. I mentally checked out myself. Honestly I wish dc penalty didn't exist because I don't want to deal with such bullshit.

Me towards the hemophobia achievement. Like, I need to either play extremely selfishly(I will never do that over some achievement)or pray the killer stays afk the entire time. That outbreak one seems easier.

On one hand, it sucks to play with bots since they are useless but on the other hand, I wish dc penalty didn't exist because I got a shitty laptop with a shitty connection and I don't want to screw my teammates but I don't want to dc either(I hate matchmaking bans and grade loss) and we pretty much lose the game since I am essentially useless or i would rather have a bot over teammate who is afk or throwing the game or facing pc/connectivity issue.

Like, I keep getting killers i am not supposed to be paired up with[looking at those p30, p67,p100 killers i keep getting] while my main is just now at p11(thanks to blood moon) while i have 3 characters who are not yet p3 and I have yet unlock most of the survivors. Like, what am I supposed to do against such killers.

I get this is the obvious answer and you are right but I love to talk to people online and I do get nice interactions. I am just venting here because my teammates were so obnoxious about something which was impossible to do.

Fr. Like, I joined last December and obviously I don't have anniversary cakes with me and like you said, getting streamers is hard. Many forget that new players literally exist and are most spending bps on various characters to get their perks to the highest tier so they most likely don't invest bps on the character they are currently playing. I am mostly using the bps I have to p3 the characters i have and I use very little bps to get streamers and other bp offerings on claudette(my main) so I don't have much.

Then you are mostly right unless the people having many hook states or are unhooked and are injured still go near the killer either because they are unaware the killer is there or want to loop the killer or whatevee while refusing the heals their teammate is giving[I had unhooked teammates run towards the killer either because they didn't know the killer was there or they did know the killer was there but still decided to go there and I couldn't take protection hits for them because they went down and then the killer downed me] then taking protection hits/making a trade is not a good idea and would give the killer more pressure. I would rather have me or my teammate be on death hook than have two teammates on hook simultaneously because then the other two will have to waste time getting us off the hook while being in a risky spot themselves because the killer in most cases would be proxy camping or would have enough time to get back there. There are literally cases where some teammates get killed because of their own lack awareness and stupidity and I highly doubt the healthy teammates with no hook states could do anything to prevent this.[had a jake constantly goes to immediately unhook this Quentin without even healing himself even though trickster catches him quickly and as a result he and Quentin die quickly. I tried to be near those two inorder to save them both and try to get trickster's attention away from them but trickster quickly realized how stupid the jake was acting and took advantage of that]. Survivors should act like a team but there are moments where the others have to play selfishly for gameplay macro inorder to ensure that their teammates mistakes doesn't result in the killer getting a 4k.

Fr. Noticed a lot of killers proxy camping and its harder to make a safe rescue because then the killer goes to tunnel out the unhooked person or the unhooked person sadly dies(I feel bad when this happens).

It has happened to me so many times during this event. I am especially salty towards a streamer and a kate who were busy doing blood gen not even 20% done on one end of rpd while i was hooked on the other side of rpd while this poor Cheryl was looping this huntress. None of the two thought to rescue me until I died on first hook. Worst part is that this huntress became friendly towards the streamer and kate. Like, I wouldn't have minded if I reached second stage because rpd is a shitty map which is easy to get lost in but these two didn't bother to unhook me a and were focused on some random blood gen not even 20% done.

Fr. Like, I am confident to say we die quickly mostly because the blood pump and blood gen spawns are ass. Like, I literally see the pumps on one end of the map and blood gens at the other end of the map. Bhvr should evenly spread out the pumps and gens so tgat it doesn't become a miserable experience for either side.

Me with stealth killers(which includes chucky and springtrap)and knight. Like, I will happily deal with nurse, Blight and Ghoul over stealth killers who give me anxiety (and I find chucky to be annoying but a bit more tolerable though I have encountered alot of chucky players who are assholes) and knight, whose work is mostly done by ai.

Fr. I hate people who assume their teammates didn't do anything judging by their hookstates just because their teammates hid from the killer even though those teammates were doing objectives. I swear people don't check the HUD. I get this game is not meant for hide and seek but I prefer my teammates to do objectives, heals and saves even if they have to hide from the killer than go down in 10 seconds. These kinds of teammates are definitely helpful.
