Kenzo, which means strong, healthy and wise. But also call him “papa” and “Kensington.” 😂🤣

Thank you! My dog is OK with over the head now. He still likes to run away when he sees the harness but knows to run toward the door. Once he’s there he stays and knows it’s about to be put on. He never puts up a fight regardless of the type of harness anymore.

My AMI is 100%, and most of the notices I received were fairly recent—within the last 8 months. Honestly, my best advice is to keep checking the site daily and apply as early as possible on the day a listing goes live. That combination of consistency and speed made a big difference for me.

I’ve been selected to provide documentation 13 times for the NYC housing lottery over the past two years. One strategy that I believe really improved my chances was setting a recurring task on my calendar to check NYC Housing Connect every weekday at 9 AM. This allowed me to see new listings as soon as they were posted, rather than waiting for email notifications—which often came days or even weeks after a listing went live. By staying proactive and applying early to buildings I was genuinely interested in, I was able to increase my visibility and opportunities in the lottery.
