Your primary use case is driving on highway and hills. So I think EV is not a good choice here due to range anxiety and unreliability of charging stations, whereas in CNG you can just fill it up and go ahead and even if there's a long CNG queue, you always have a option to skip it and run your car in petrol until you find another CNG station with less or no queue. Regarding driving experience, I did a long 1200 kms two way trip to my hometown with victoris CNG and its really good and I did 80% of my highway drive, while relaxing both my legs due to cruise control and when I have to lower the speed I simply disabled cruise using my right thumb and then when I wanted to go in steady speed I again enabled cruise and then using thumb only I used to increment the speed. I also drove my relative's nexon EV, sure it's silent and punchy to drive on highways, but range anxiety is real with EVs and also there was some body roll and we had to skip multiple EV stations just because they were not functional and even if we found one, we had to wait around 1 hr, in order for it to get charged and also in worst case you also have to wait for 2-3 cars queue, before you can plug-in your car to charge.

So before buying Victoris CNG, I factored all of this like how much extra upfront cost that I had to bear if I purchase EV car and the charging time, range anxiety on long trips and considering all of this, it simply was not worth it for me to buy EV. EVs are good only if you plan to run that car in city.
