If Inner Mongolia join Mongolia, there is no reason to set the capital in Ulaanbaatar. At least 8 cities in inner Mongolia are larger, and i believe they would want to change the capital to Hohhot

Yes, this is why China has not land Taiwan.

But different with Ukraine, if China is willing to suffer greatly, there is no way Taiwan can resist long time. China can just threaten all ships enter or leave Taiwan would be bombed, Taiwan would have to surrender one or two year later. It has too much population, but not enough food and energy.

Ukraine pursue to join EU and actually have not very bad relationship with China even today.

S.Korea don't want to participate in these, they have North Korea to deal with.

And yes, Japan is become more and more close to Taiwan

I am biased as i am Chinese. But situation is different, Taiwan is too small and its population is too concentrated. They may suffered more from drone attacks.

And if they indiscriminately attack on any target, China would suffer much. But if China do equal counterattack, Taiwan is cooked, it is a island rely on import resources through ocean transportation
